Therefore, they resolve to deal with depression strictly by spiritual means e.g. prayer and Bible reading. My intention is to dispel myths about depression and to get people to understand that it is a condition to which we are all vulnerable. I also hope to increase people's understanding of God's will that we have healthy minds as well as healthy bodies. Depression need not be a condition that people deal with in silence given that there is help available for it.
