Book Synopsis Lake of Fire - Hope for the Wicked One Day? - Essays in First Christianity by : Jonathan Ramachandran
Download or read book Lake of Fire - Hope for the Wicked One Day? - Essays in First Christianity written by Jonathan Ramachandran and published by AnonymousChristian.Org. This book was released on 2019-01-01 with total page 1603 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christ Centered Universalism has been a Hope in First Christianity among the earliest orthodox Christians as testified even as late in St. Augustine of Hippo's infamous quote in that even he didn't call them as heretics but soft hearted Christians who did not deny Holy Scripture. A form of Christian Universalism by Origen of Alexandria may have been condemned by a later council. For protestants, please take note that both St. Augustine and that later council consists of members who Pray to Virgin Mary something which is absent from even Origen of Alexandria. Therefore, just because something is majority by later early Christianity it does not necessarily mean that it was First Christianity Doctrine. In light of this, we discuss various viewpoints, quotes by Church Fathers and Ancient Christian Writings in support of this Hope. Since the time lapse and loss of records to these First Christians being replaced by later Christianity is hard to trace or prove due to scarcity of evidences, nevertheless we endeavour to present as much as we can including some rarely known quotes within Christian Universalism Hopefuls itself. An example of a set of rare quotes which point to Christ Centered Universalism in this book which may not be popularly known is that by St. Hillary of Poitiers, the Champion of Trinity in the West and a set of interesting quotes likewise by St. Ignatius of Antioch who was a direct disciple if St. John the Apostle of Christ himself. We see traces of such an understanding in a quote by St. Justin Martyr toward the Wicked being made subject to obey God eventually as one child while St. Ireneous of Lyons has a few interesting quotes especially those that relate to the Concept of Ages/Aeons/Olam to come where in a particular instance, St. Ireneus clearly shows that the strongest phrase "ages of Ages" refers to the subset "ages" out of a larger set of "Ages" implying limitedness. Just like God of Abraham does not limit God to Abraham only, the phrase God's Glory to the Age/Aeon/Olam (singular) need not limit God's Glory to one Age only but may be highlighting it for that Age (unknown long time period). We do not need to teach it as a 100% certain doctrine but we may hope for it as the Bible Verses can also be understood consistently to present this Hope in some Way. One Day we will know and all things are possible with God Who Alone Decides. Peace to you.

Book Synopsis When Men Don?t Cry and Other Plays for Teens by : Samuel Williams
Download or read book When Men Don?t Cry and Other Plays for Teens written by Samuel Williams and published by Partridge Singapore. This book was released on 2014-04 with total page 441 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Even the worst of us have a story to tell and a rationalization to share. The problem is that the "best of us" have already judged them unworthy. Many plays for student actors shy away from serious subjects. Even so, today's world is a serious place, and young people are facing some of the biggest challenges of their lives-gangs, drugs, bullying, broken homes, violence in the street. Seeking to address these topics, playwright Samuel Williams presents When Men Don't Cry and Other Plays for Teens, the last in his four-book series of plays. Powerful and relevant, these short dramatic works offer insight, understanding, and social commentary for today's youths, their teachers, and their families. Educational as well as entertaining, these plays shine a light on a troubled and often misunderstood generation. Acted out on stage or read aloud in a group setting, Williams' easy-to-read tales look past teens' tattoos, piercings, gang colors, and sagging pants to find their humanity. Ideal for schools and church groups, parents, and teens, When Men Don't Cry and Other Plays for Teens explores a litany of experiences and seeks to positively change the fundamental way that people see today's youth and family dynamics.

Book Synopsis Always in Her Heart by : Jean Mickle
Download or read book Always in Her Heart written by Jean Mickle and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2001-08 with total page 134 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: After our nation slogged its way through the Great Depression came an era identified with bobby sox, charm bracelets, crooners and front windows proudly displaying service flags. The citizens of King’s Mills gave their patriotic all to the war effort while they prayed for peace. Hope Royer had been a surprise to her almost middle-aged parents who were barely surviving the depression, but she was nevertheless happily welcomed by them and her older siblings. World War II called Hope’s adored brother Ted from the Senior Class. By the time she was almost into her teens and had become a graceful and slender beauty, David Bonner entered her life and the pair became inseparable. When the two of them weren’t playing croquet, they shared Cokes at the local drugstore or sang songs they had learned at their summer camps and kept Hope’s porch swing creaking through heavenly summer evenings. As Hope neared her 13th birthday, her bliss was shattered by major blows: David’s father was transferred out of state and the death of the Royers’ beloved landlady forced the sale of the only home Hope had ever known. Could she find a way to cope and go on?
