Diese Meinungen beginnen mit der Globalaussage, Kinder und Jugendliche sind zunehmend gewaltbereit und gefährlich, ganz besonders die Ausländer und enden mit der Behauptung, die Eltern, Schule, Lehrer, ja die ganze Gesellschaft hätte bei der Erziehung der Kinder versagt. Diese Ausführung ist nicht der richtige Rahmen, diese Aussagen zu bewerten oder zu widerlegen. Vielmehr soll hier vorgestellt werden, welche Möglichkeiten zur Vorbeugung und Vermeidung von Straftaten von Kindern und Jugendlichen eingesetzt werden oder auch in Zukunft eingesetzt werden können. Der grundsätzliche Rahmen der Prävention besteht aus der intensiven Zusammenarbeit verschiedener Disziplinen, namentlich der Pädagogik und der Polizei. Der pädagogische Teil der Präventionsarbeit wird oftmals durch verschiedene Fachleute, wie z.B. Pädagogen, Sozialarbeiter und -pädagogen sowie auch den Erziehern und Lehrern übernommen. Wichtig ist hierbei, dass alle Mitarbeiter über den notwendigen theoretischen und methodischen Hintergrund und das Fachwissen verfügen. Im Praxiseinsatz findet diese Präventionsarbeit im wesentlichen in Lebensmittelpunkten der Jugendlichen, in Schulen oder anderen Jugendeinrichtungen statt. Im Detail werde ich später auf die pädagogische Arbeit in diesem Arbeitsfeld eingehen. Aber auch die grundsätzliche Diskussion, ob die Repression, also die Strafverfolgung und Bestrafung eines jugendlichen Straftäters, sinnvoll ist, oder ob bei Jugendlichen die Ergreifung präventiver Maßnahmen sinnvoller ist sollte an dieser Stelle kurz angeschnitten werden. Das Tätigkeitsfeld der Kriminalprävention ist sehr umfangreich und wird durch viele verschiedene Institutionen und Träger mit unterschiedlichen Zielen angeboten, dass es schon daher sehr interessant zu erkennen werden dürfte, mit welchen Zielen, Methoden und Überzeugungen die verschiedenen "Fachleute" mit ihrem Arbeitsfeld umgehen. Es erscheint schon jetzt einleuchtend, dass ein Polizist andere methodische Ansätze und auch andere Ziele als ein Sozialarbeiter verfolgt. Aber verstehen auch die beiden hier exemplarisch gewählten Institutionen das gleiche unter dem Begriff Jugendkriminalität ? She has written a number of books, and in 2016 she received the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade, which has also been won by Svetlana Alexievich, Orhan Pamuk and Susan Sontag.
