Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Richard Singletary (ca. 1599-1687) was living at Salem, Massachusetts, by 1630. He married Susannah Cook (1616-1682) in 1638/9. They had seven children. The family lived at Salsbury and Haverhill. Their Their son, Johnathan (b. 1640) married Mary Bloomfield ca. 1661. They had five children. The family lived at Haverhill until 1665, when they moved to Woodbridge, New Jersey. Descendants of their sons, Nathaniel Singletary and Benjamin Singletary, listed, lived in Massachusetts, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, and elsewhere. Record especially traces descendants of Amos Singletary, who married Mary Curtis. Amos Singletary was born in 1721 at Sutton, Massachusetts, the son of John and Mary Greeley Singletary. He married Mary Curtis, daughter of Samuel Curtis of Topsfield, Massachusetts in 1742. They had nine children, 1743-1762. Descendants listed lived in Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Texas, and elsewhere.
