Book excerpt: L'introduction des nouvelles technologies dans le dispositif de formation, pour palier la distance géographique, les difficultés de temps, des contraintes familiales, vie privée, handicap et-ou autres. Notre recherche s'inscrit dans ce problématique et examine l'effet de l'intégration des TIC sur l'innovation pédagogique à l'université. Ce travail développe les conditions permettant l'innovation pédagogique et présente, en parallèle, les facteurs qui pourraient freiner l'innovation et les changements des méthodes pédagogiques dans la formation à distance. Nos résultants de recherche découvrent que les freins de l'innovation et aux changements sont liés aux contextes institutionnels, technologiques et pédagogiques qui constituent tout un ensemble de conditions de développement de la formation à distance avec les TIC. Nous avons constaté qu'il existe une relation interdépendante entre ces trois dimensions de notre recherche. Sans le changement de l'ensemble des plans technologiques, pédagogiques, institutionnels et politiques, l'innovation pédagogique ne pourra pas réussir. Ce changement demande de nouveaux rôles et de nouvelles compétences chez les enseignants, les tuteurs et les apprenants. Notre travail empirique montre l'importance du rôle du tuteur dans un dispositif de formation en ligne, pour répondre aux problèmes d'abandons à travers le dialogue, l'accompagnement et le suivi des apprenants. Cela nécessite une reconnaissance sur le plan national de ce nouveau métier. Nous précisons de montrer que dans un dispositif de formation en ligne (e – learning), la relation d'enseignement est modifié par le fait que l'enseignant, le tuteur et l'apprenant participent interactivement à la pratique mutuelle d'échanges et d'accès à la connaissance. Les rôles des enseignants et des formateurs, leurs modes d'intervention qui se transforment, entraînant une redéfinition de leurs statuts et de leurs pouvoirs. Ce qui oblige le monde enseignant, notamment universitaire à subir une profonde mutation. Elle conclue enfin, sur des pistes et des suggestions pour mieux intégrer les TIC dans la formation à distance.
