Book excerpt: Many years ago there lived in an ancient castle in England a proud Baron, who had one child, Ginevra, a little girl named for her mother, who died the night her baby was born. The servants used to say the Baroness had led a wretched life; that her lord was harsh and stern at home, as he was fierce and cruel in war; but this I do not truly know. He dearly loved his little daughter, and hours at a time would carry her in his arms and walk up and down the hall before the blazing fires in winter. It was a fair sight to see the Baron with the baby, in her long white dress, lying on his shoulder, her light hair against his rough beard, or to see him dandle her in his hand, hard almost as the steel gloves he wore to battle, as if she were no more than a feather’s weight. The castle was gloomy and strong, with towers guarded by sentinels, and was enclosed by a high wall of stone, beyond which was a deep moat filled with water, that could be crossed by only one drawbridge. Once, when there was war in the land, the King called on all good men for help; and the Baron, ready for battle, gathered his people in the courtyard to hear his last orders. He held up his sword, dinted by many a blow in bloody fight, showed the cross on its hilt, and spoke in a loud voice: “Swear by this blessed sign, whatever befall, you will defend Lady Ginevra to the death!” And every man lifted his right hand, knelt where he stood, and swore by the Holy Cross he would defend the Lady Ginevra to the death. He then mounted his coal-black steed, took the baby from her nurse, and lifted her in sight of all the crowd. She clapped her hands and laughed to see the flashing armor and flags embroidered with red roses, and the air rung with the shout: “Long live the Lady Ginevra!”

Book excerpt: Ralph Waldo Emerson was an American essayist, poet, philosopher, pastor, lecturer, and public figure. During his life, he was one of the most prominent thinkers and writers in the United States with his work remaining influential today. In the late 19th century, after the death of Benjamin Franklin, it was Emerson who filled the role of thinker, motivator, and spiritual guide for the American nation. While he was the mentor and friend of Henry David Thoreau, he was viewed by most liberals of his generation as their spiritual leader. The admiration was well deserved: he was the first thinker to formulate the philosophy of transcendentalism. Emerson’s writings influenced the work of Friedrich Nietzsche, Maurice Maeterlinck, Charles Baudelaire, and Leo Tolstoy. In these last days, which are becoming increasingly more dangerous, the only true place of safety and security is found in the presence of God the Father. Walking with the Kingthrough the Reality of Gods Love is Eleanor Stockerts third book dealing with the reality of Gods Love. As in the first two books, Finally LiberatedThrough the Reality of Gods Love and Our Final DestinyRevelation Through the Reality of Gods Love, Stockert leads the reader to a deeper level of understanding of Gods Love as seen through the heart of a good Father. Walking with the King enables believers to enjoy the abundant life Jesus died to give them.

Book excerpt: Before Moses wrote the first five books of today’s Bible, the people who survived the great flood in Noah’s day were told about the ten generational divisions of time ordained by God for mankind to live on this earth. The beginning and end of each division—from Adam in the book of Genesis to the Great White Throne Judgment day—are found in our Bible today. It has been said that the prophets in Israel kept these “ten generational divisions of time” writings so that they might ascertain and confirm prophetic events. Many of these prophecies have already been confirmed, but a few remain to be fulfilled. Hope and Expectancy is about these divisions of time as found in the Bible. Seven have been fulfilled, and three await fulfillment. Discover the current division of time and the event that will mark its end.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: USA and Racial Divide: Lord Heal Me and Heal Our Land addresses racism from the perspective of a sixty-three-year-old African American Christian woman who has struggled with her ability to experience the love of God because of her contradictory reality. The book, though controversial, will benefit all readers because it exposes the true culprit of division whether in races, homes, families, nations or our world. Attention is given to the role of the Body of Christ (church) in this sinister attack of the enemy, and how we are without excuse in continuing justifying its acceptance in our society. "It cannot be done by the marches of the 1960s, but by a spiritual revolution, hearts must change" were the words that were given in answer to a prayer about racism in our nation. Understanding God's original plan for mankind (male and female), understanding who God is and who man is, understanding human behavior, exploring historical facts about our nation and African descendants, recognizing the true enemy of division, understanding that racism is the symptom of a greater spiritual problem that cannot be handled by natural means are all covered in this book. The author reminds the Body of Christ of its role in perpetuating racism and the need for repentance so we can be the light of the world that we are called to be. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation; however, we remain powerless if we behave as the world. Although many are saved, there is a need for spiritual maturity; otherwise, we remain babes in Christ and behave just like the world. "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed" 1Pe 2:24

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The darkness of prejudice paints a near-perfect picture of the events that led to the first murder on earth in the most communicative and intriguing of manners. Originally called the agrapha of Cain and Abelagrapha, a Greek word meaning unwritten and unspoken things. By divine revelation, the author sheds great insight into the life and times of the two brothers back in their garden and, by a parallel comparison, shows how today people can live a happy and fulfilled life free of hurts and the excess weight of past and present resentments if they can find and connect with the strongest resource in the heart of man, inner peace, which comes alive by acknowledging certain undeniable truths about the human nature, which constantly needs to be on the fore if Gods ordained quality of life for men is to be achieved. The author compared scripture with scripture, scripture with nature, and vice versa, to bring a captivating thought-provoking balance to learning that will stir up the minds of the reader into productive action irrespective of personal affiliations and allegiances, as the book calls up the burning emptiness that tells you exactly what you need to do. If a tranquil mind free from botheration, moral conflicts, and agitating passions is what you seek, a place where actions and inactions rather than being the ultimate defining moments of ones life becomes another learning curve and a springboard into becoming a better person, then this is a must read for you.

Book excerpt: Michel de Nostredame (December 1503 — July 1566) was a French astrologer, apothecary, physician, and reputed seer, who is best known for his book Les Prophéties (published in 1555), a collection of 942 poetic quatrains allegedly predicting future events. Nostradamus's father's family had originally been Jewish, but had converted to Catholic Christianity a generation before Nostradamus was born. Academic sources argue that Nostradamus's predictions are characteristically vague, meaning they could be applied to virtually anything, and are useless for determining whether their author had any real prophetic powers.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Motivated by a deep hunger for more of God, millions of Christians are leaving the traditional church to look for more freedom and fulfillment than the routine of five songs, announcements, a plea for money and a forty five minute sermon allow. They are looking for open ended, deep worship that flows with the Holy Spirit, relatable Bible study and discussion in which they may participate, and strong bonds of fellowship outside the four walls of organized church. Instead of leaving the church to fall away from God, they are leaving the church to find God. Leaving the Church to Find God offers scriptural, safe, and balanced answers tempered by real life experiences, on how to move from a traditional church structure into meetings that allow the Lord to set the agenda and where needs are met. John Fenn - I was a Christian who felt disconnected from church though I'd been actively involved nearly all my life. I was looking for answers to my desire and hunger for God to move freely, and came to realize I wasn't alone. From all walks of life and across the church spectrum people are searching for something deeper, but they don't quite know what. This is the story of how I found God moving outside the church structure that I had known, loved, and been a part of my whole Christian life. John and his wife Barbara were born in Kokomo, Indiana and began dating as teenagers when they met the Lord, and began ministering to their teenage friends. They've been in the ministry now for over thirty years, serving in various capacities including Campus Pastor, Associate Pastor, Senior Pastor, and advisor to churches and Bible schools all over the world. John also worked with Peter Wagner teaching at the Wagner Leadership Institute, serving as Canadian National Director and Education Advisor. He remains an adjunct instructor of Wagner Leadership Institute of Colorado Springs. In early 2002 John and his wife Barb, founded The Church Without Walls International of Tulsa, a house church network, emphasizing Relationship Based Christianity. He travels and teaches in all different streams of Christianity, helping churches and individuals find significance and fulfillment through Godly relationships and the discipleship process.

It is the most influential, thought-provoking, Christian book series of the 21st Century. I wrote this book for anyone who is interested in learning what it takes to become an Ambassador of Heaven. In case you didnt know, an Ambassador of Heaven is someone who: dominates the Father of Lies, discerns the deceitfulness of worldly wisdom, and actualizes the power of heavenly wisdom. In order to adequately address this topic, I wrote this book in 4 volumes. Volumes 1 and 2 admonishes the recklessness and foolishness of worldly wisdom. Volume 3 is a compilation of the main points of Volumes 1 and 2, which exposes the worthlessness of worldly wisdom. And Volume 4 reveals secrets to maintaining relationships with your spouse and children that are pleasing to God. My books are simple enough for a 5th grader to understand and deep enough for a Ph.D. student to embrace. Show your family some love and buy a few copies. They are the perfect empowerment tools for middle school, high school, and college bound family members; and make excellent birthday, graduation, and Christmas gifts.
