In a thought-provoking guide to finding love and freedom, life coach Allan Moore relies on personal experiences, ancient philosophies, and intuitive-based wisdom to help others understand and sustain love with freedom. While leading others on a spiritual journey to gain answers, Moore introduces the concept of self, reveals the source of love, explores the law of attraction, defines personal traits that can lead to failure or success, and offers suggestions on how to gain observational awareness through journaling, mindfulness, and self-reflection. Through gentle encouragement, Moore helps all of us understand that above all, love is who we really are as unique beings existing within a vast universe. Lifes Quest for Love and Freedom intertwines anecdotes with practical advice and introspective ideas that lead others down a contemplative path to attain a better life.

Book Synopsis Love and Freedom by : Alison Mackinnon
Download or read book Love and Freedom written by Alison Mackinnon and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 1997-01-28 with total page 320 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this 1997 book, Alison Mackinnon traces the history of women's challenges to changes in education, employment, reproductive science and law. She shows the connection between the lives of the first generation of women university graduates and the sudden decline in the national birthrate. So dramatic was this shift that it sparked a Royal Commission into its cause. Alison Mackinnon's extensive research shows that the declining birthrate was not simply the result of 'selfish', educated, young women refusing to bear the burdens of motherhood, but was symptomatic of a larger questioning of the role of women in procreation, the role of women in marriage and the institution of marriage itself. Utilising social and government history, autobiography and statistical analysis, this book shows that 'the Marriage Problem' exists as much in the 1990s as it did in the 1890s. Men and women today are still challenging the boundaries between work and home, profession and private life, trying to find a way to have it all.

Download or read book Do This for Love written by David Eubank and published by Fidelis Books. This book was released on 2020-07-28 with total page 346 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As coalition forces, led by brave Iraqi soldiers on the ground, slowly pushed ISIS out, the brutality of the terrorists was turned against thousands of civilians as they fled the fighting. There was no humanitarian template for responding to such ruthlessness; to attempt to help would take total commitment. Birthed in the war zones of Burma to stand with villagers under attack by the Burma Army and provide medical care, relief, and reporting, the Free Burma Rangers came to Mosul with twenty years of war zone experience in the jungle. Led by their founder, David Eubank, a former Ranger and U.S. Special Forces officer, medics, and cameramen from the teams in Burma, other foreign volunteers, and Dave’s wife and three children, came to fill the gap between the frontlines and the humanitarian community. They came living by the conviction that every person counts and the only force that can defeat hate is love. Four team members were wounded and one killed as they lived out that conviction with total commitment. This is their story.

Download or read book The Ladies' Repository written by and published by . This book was released on 1848 with total page 456 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The idea of this women's magazine originated with Samuel Williams, a Cincinnati Methodist, who thought that Christian women needed a magazine less worldly than Godey's Lady's Book and Snowden's Lady's Companion. Written largely by ministers, this exceptionally well-printed little magazine contained well-written essays of a moral character, plenty of poetry, articles on historical and scientific matters, and book reviews. Among western writers were Alice Cary, who contributed over a hundred sketches and poems, her sister Phoebe Cary, Otway Curry, Moncure D. Conway, and Joshua R. Giddings; and New England contributors included Mrs. Lydia Sigourney, Hannah F. Gould, and Julia C.R Dorr. By 1851, each issue published a peice of music and two steel plates, usually landscapes or portraits. When Davis E. Clark took over the editorship in 1853, the magazine became brighter and attained a circulation of 40,000. Unlike his predecessors, Clark included fictional pieces and made the Repository a magazine for the whole family. After the war it began to decline and in 1876 was replaced by the National Repository. The Ladies' Repository was an excellent representative of the Methodist mind and heart. Its essays, sketches, and poems, its good steel engravings, and its moral tone gave it a charm all its own. -- Cf. American periodicals, 1741-1900.

It links individual, family and society in a chain of love which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Individual's freedom of will is considered a major concept of a new societal transformation that puts humanity back at the centre of the political debate. It empowers citizens to realise their full potentials under condition of free will and enhances the aggregate joy and happiness in the society. Thereby, contributing to the realisation of the triple-bottom-line of economic prosperity, social equity and sustainability. An intellectual exercise in generation and accumulation of moral capital; confirmation of the supremacy and trustworthiness of a belief and value system; and a recombination of the basic tenets of judeo-christian western civilisation for twin goals of futuristic modernisation and heritage conservation. A principled application of eternal process of learning to live with the natural world and the vagaries of human society
