In dieser Arbeit soll eines der effektivsten und (im Moment) mit am häufigsten eingesetzten Programme zur Prävention von aggressivem und gewaltbereitem Verhalten vorgestellt werden: „Faustlos. Ein Curriculum zur Prävention von aggressivem und gewaltbereitem Verhalten bei Kindern der Klassen 1 bis 3.“ Nach einer Erklärung der Grundzüge des Curriculums und der Begründung der Notwendigkeit von Faustlos soll ein Vorschlag für eine Durchführung mit Beginn in der 3. Klasse (statt sonst in Klasse 1) dargestellt werden. Dies kann nötig werden, wenn etwa in einer dritten Klasse plötzlich Verhaltensauffälligkeiten auftreten oder neue Risikofaktoren hinzugekommen sind. Außerdem ist es sinnvoll, in einer Schule gleichzeitig mit allen Kindern das Faustlos-Programm zu beginnen. In diesem Fall können aber in den höheren Klassen nicht alle Stunden gehalten werden. Dafür sind ausgewählte Unterrichtseinheiten umgearbeitet und mit Materialien z.B. Liedern, Büchern, Spielen und Lernwerkstattmaterialien ergänzt worden.

Das ist natürlich falsch, aber es ist verständlich, denn das Leben hat keine Kontrollgruppe, leider. Wir sehen niemals, wie das Leben verlaufen wäre, wenn dieses oder jenes nicht so gewesen wäre, wie es eben tatsächlich war. Gewaltbereitschaft und Gewalttätigkeit bei Kindern und Jugendlichen sind weder neue noch besonders akute Themen, jedoch in ihrer Aktualität nicht weniger erheblich. Auch wenn die 2009 veröffentlichte Studie des Kriminologischen Forschungsinstitutes Niedersachsen seit 1998 tendenziell rückläufige Zahlen in der Kriminalstatistik verzeichnet, ist die fast 100%iger Zunahme von Gewalttaten bei 14-18 Jährigen von 1990 bis 1999 nicht zu vernachlässigen. Die Verschärfung dieser Problematik und die sich abzeichnende Entwicklung verlangen zunehmend nach Lösungen. Im Zuge dessen wuchs die Anzahl der Interventions- und vor allem der Präventionsmaßnahmen, um dieser Entwicklung vorzubeugen. Im Vergleich zu Interventionen sind präventive Konzepte sowohl langfristig erfolgreicher als auch deutlich kostengünstiger. Da an Kindergärten und Schulen aggressive und gewaltbereite Verhaltensweisen zum Dauerthema geworden sind, konzentrieren sich effektive Präventionsansätze, über die Unterstützung der Familien hinaus, auf die Entwicklungsbedingungen der Kinder in den außerfamiliären sozialen Beziehungen in Kindergärten und Schulen. Auch aus entwicklungspsychologischen und neurobiologischen Forschungsbefunden geht hervor, dass sich vorbeugende Maßnahmen auf die frühe Kindheit fokussieren sollten. Demnach bieten sich die Jahre im Vorschulalter besonders für primäre Präventionsmethoden an. FAUSTLOS ist das einzige in Deutschland existierende Gewaltpräventionsprogramm, das für diese Altersgruppe entwickelt wurde. Wenn Ursachen primär in der Erziehung liegen, muss hinterfragt werden, wie präventiv und familienunterstützend interveniert werden kann. Dies ist die Fragestellung der Arbeit. Die Aggressionsbereitschaft von Schülern gegenüber ihrem Lehrer hat in den vergangenen Jahren zugenommen. Jugendliche verbünden sich gegen ihre Lehrer, planen einen Anschlag, wenden körperliche Gewalt an oder provozieren durch Störungen des Unterrichts. Jedoch zeigt sich dieses Verhalten nicht ausschließlich bei Jugendlichen, die sich in der Pubertät befinden, auch in Grundschulen ist die Aggressionsbereitschaft gegenüber Lehrern gestiegen. In Berlin konnte ein um sich schlagender Viertklässler nur noch von der Polizei gestoppt werden. Er wurde wie ein Erwachsener auf das Pult gedrückt und anschließend abgeführt. Einer Studie zu Folge gaben 40Prozent der befragten Grundschullehrer an, mit einem Schüler körperliche Gewalterfahrungen gemacht zu haben. Im Vergleich waren bei Haupt-, Real und Gesamtschullehrern nur 21Prozent betroffen. Laut einer Grundschulrektorin befinden sich in jeder Klasse ein bis zwei Kinder mit auffälligen und herausfordernden Verhaltensweisen. Die Schulleiter und Lehrer sehen den Ursprung eines solchen Verhaltens in der Erziehung. Sie sind der Meinung, dass viele Eltern keine klaren Regeln aufstellen und eine mangelnde Grenzsetzung die Aggressionsbereitschaft fördert. Des Weiteren haben ihrer Meinung nach, die Kinder zu wenig Ausgleich zur Schule.
