That is what they are dealing with now and the blue guardians are trying to get them back so they can rule the world. Jack grows young and strong, learning from Merlin and the ones he kills. He fights demons, and at the end, he fights Lucifer himself. There are three love stories that are woven into the story. I sure hope you enjoy it!

Book excerpt: A tale of fairies and sorcery begins when a green fairy dares to come and find her cousin in the forbidden planet; the Earth. Upon arrival, she finds the blue fairy enslaving the red fairy. This prompt her to save the red fairy but, alas, the blue fairy attacks to enslave her too. Jack, an old man, comes into the picture. He kills the blue fairy, with a stroke of luck, using the wasp spray. The green fairy is surprise as she discovers he can handle a fairy's power without dying from it. The red fairy befriends him, for saving her, and helps him understand the fairy world. Jack becomes drawn to the ancient battle of good and evil, and vows to destroy the blue fairy with all his might. Thus, the more power and fairy dust he uses, the younger he becomes. Jack is taken to the legendary sorcerer, Merlin, who is an immortal that has lived for 10,000 years and with a decent history about sorcery. In order to help him protect himself, Merlin educates him about magic and sorcery. Jack gains greater advantage and eventually saves his life by mastering the skill of hypnosis. As the story unfolds, Merlin's pilot is Jack's sidekick. He is a Viking warrior who Merlin rescued during a battle. The angel Gabriel comes in to tell Jack about his quest, to battle the blue guardians, who are trying to bring back the blue fairy from a doomed planet using a portal like the Stone Hedge, and Devil worshippers trying to bring Devil back to Earth. Jack withstands the story of rescuing fairies, finding love, and helping Merlin bring his wife back from the brink of death during a fight with a blue guardian. The Author is a retired factory rat; his last job was making fire extinguishers for 29 years. I woke early in the morning and wrote while the wife slept to keep quiet. In retirement, I am looking for a hobby. I am busy and never have to look for a project; I have to slow down and enjoy. Right now, I do woodworking, landscape, projects around the house (planning on putting on an addition and a sunroom if I can afford it), and a little fishing; my yard is 11 acres, so there is always something to do. I like vacationing. I try to take in a movie every once in a while. I am married, so there is always a honey-do list. I have published seven books, which is an expensive hobby.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book examines the fairies, demons, and nature spirits haunting the margins of Christendom from late-antique Egypt to early modern Scotland to contemporary Amazonia. Contributions from anthropologists, folklorists, historians and religionists explore Christian strategies of encompassment and marginalization, and the ‘small gods’ undisciplined tendency to evade such efforts at exorcism. Lurking in forest or fairy-mound, chuckling in dark corners of the home or of the demoniac’s body, the small gods both define and disturb the borders of a religion that is endlessly syncretistic and in endless, active denial of its own syncretism. The book will be of interest to students of folklore, indigenous Christianity, the history of science, and comparative religion.

Varner explores the use of magic, spells and curses among indigenous groups as well as state approved religions such as those observed in ancient Rome and Greece, and how even contemporary Christianity uses many of the same "magic" combinations. Also examined is the current "witch craze" in several countries where thousands are being killed as witches, the underlying reasons for this tragedy and the history of anti-witchcraft laws. The Dark Wind is a book for everyone interested in anthropology, archaeology, ancient history, religion and the occult. Illustrated with contemporary woodcuts and drawings. The author is a member of the American Folklore Society and the Foundation for Mythological Studies.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Illuminating the Dark Side’s Spirits, Fiends, Devils, and Demons. Throughout human history, we have been obsessed with the dark opposites of God and angels, light, and mercy. Whether it is our religious and sacred texts, folklore and myths of old, legends, fairy tales, novels, or the movies and television shows of today, the dark entities enthrall us, terrify us, and remind us of the dualities of life. But where did they originate? Are they real? Does every religion or region of the world include them? Exploring over two dozen religious traditions, myths, folkloric and spiritual traditions, the world of the supernatural, and the demons, the Devil, and fallen angels in today’s pop culture, Demons, the Devil, and Fallen Angels is a comprehensive resource of the many faces of the devil, his minions, ominous deities, and the darker side of nature and ourselves. From ancient demon worship to modern Satanism, the bloody era of the Inquisitions and later witch burnings to the Satanic Panic of the late-twentieth century, and secret occult societies to Hitler's involvement with demonology, this book covers it all! You'll learn about the key figures in history associated with demons and the Devil, the worshiping of the dark forces, and the lives of Aleister Crowle, John Dee, and Anton LaVey, as well as well-known figures who were alleged Satanists, some of whom may surprise you! Also featured are dozens of examples of links between demons/fallen angels and aliens, cryptids, apparitions and poltergeists, and IDEs (interdimensional entities). Were the demons of the Bible possibly ancient alien visitors? Are alien abductions and poltergeists really demons in disguise? Is Slender Man a modern day demonic entity ... or totally fake? This fascinating look at Satan, evil spirits, and their 10,000-year history has 120 photographs, drawings, and illustrations to bring the portraits of over 200 demons and fallen angels to shivering life. Demons, the Devil, and Fallen Angels also includes a helpful bibliography and an extensive index, adding to its usefulness. It is a comprehensive, clear, and objective look at a subject that fills most people with fear and dread. Yet the presence of dark angels continues to remain a part of our human experience, our popular culture, and our spiritual understandings. Come and explore the shadowy side of existence and its integral part of our nature.

It was as if he called to me, demanding I reach out and touch the brushstrokes of color swirled onto the canvas. It was the most exquisite portrait I'd ever seen—everything about Lord Denbury was unbelievable...utterly breathtaking and eerily lifelike. There was a reason for that. Because despite what everyone said, Denbury never had committed suicide. He was alive. Trapped within his golden frame. I've crossed over into his world within the painting, and I've seen what dreams haunt him. They haunt me too. He and I are inextricably linked—bound together to watch the darkness seeping through the gas-lit cobblestone strets of Manhattan. And unless I can free him soon, things will only get Darker Still. They were a part of everyday life, as real as the sunrise, and as incontrovertible as the existence of God. While fairy belief was only a fragment of a much larger complex, the implications of studying this belief tradition are potentially vast, revealing some understanding of the worldview of the people of past centuries. This book, the first modern study of the subject, examines the history and nature of fairy belief, the major themes and motifs, the demonising attack upon the tradition, and the attempted reinstatement of the reality of fairies at the end of the seventeenth century, as well as their place in ballads and in Scottish literature.
