De esta manera, en el primer capítulo se describen los avances y los desafíos aún pendientes en materia de cooperación política y fortalecimiento de la democracia, coordinación de las políticas exteriores entre los Estados Miembros y cooperación judicial. En el segundo capítulo se aborda el establecimiento de políticas comunes centroamericanas en materia agrícola, comercial y medioambiental. En el tercer, y último, capítulo se analizan los avances alcanzados en Centroamérica en lo que respecta a la coordinación de políticas en materia de derechos humanos, educación superior y producción cultural.
