Book excerpt: TO GOD BE THE GLORY is my tribute to the Heavenly Father who has granted me the gift of poetic inspiration-a gift I cherish dearly. I had to stop last year (then 1997) and ask God how He wanted me to use this gift. He answered me by allowing me to create 15 poems in 11 days that I was expected to share with others-which, of course, I did. Without this gift, I could not share with you what a few have had an opportunity to read. Thank You, Lord God. The poems contained in this volume were written as thoughts of God's goodness and mercy, His love and compassion, and His overwhelming grace were made evident to me through my life or the lives of people He brought my way. I would be remiss not to give Him the glory. I can never thank Him enough for the blessing that He has allowed my words to be for the people these poems were presented to or with whom I was allowed to share them. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER has given each of us special gifts. Many of us choose to play around with them, but never use them to enhance His kingdom. He's given everyone of us talents that are uniquely ours. Yes, some of us can draw, sing, dance, write, cook, heal, and/or entertain others. All of us have some God-given gift that has endeared us to someone else, even if it's nothing more than caring and taking care of one's fellow person. Don't waste or take for granted the abilities that God has given you. For if you fail to use them for the good of this world, you will find yourself without them. Share your gifts with others. No matter how insignificant they may appear to be to you, they may prove to be a blessing for someone else to enjoy. God Bless!

Have you considered your powerlessness is actually your powerfulness? Do you even know how wonderful you are? Guess what, you are an overcomer. Not because I say so, but because a greater one has declared it so...if only you believe. Poetry of Faith, Justified by Grace depicts some of life's challenges as God's kindness steps in and reveals the way to His peace and prosperity. Therefore, we should worship Him for His goodness and unconditional love. Life is a gift from God, and what other way is there but to show appreciation for it? Living authentically while adding on experiences to birth testimonies of victory is a sure way of gaining inner peace. Through these poems, it is shown how one can receive as well as maintain the serenity of hope. Within these pages, you'll discover the following: How to identify the importance of a relationship with Christ How to speak life while experiencing challenges How to free yourself from unsustainable situations that cause disappointment A way to evaluate your actions and rectify any errors How to give true worship to a deserving God If you are a person who has lost joy and is trying to regain it, or if you have joy and trying to retain it, or maybe if you're just simply a lover of Christ and want to draw even closer to Him, then this book is for you.

It is a question that has been asked for centuries. In her book, Poems of Faith in the Garden of Hope and Grace, the author writes in her first poem “Genesis”, that God created all things good the way He envisioned it. He is omniscient—all knowing. God, the Creator, had the solution to mankind’s fall before He established the universe. He knew He’d present Himself on the cross and destroy the work of the devil. These poems speak of God’s hope and grace, how we can take our stand against the enemy and how one day He’ll reestablish a new Paradise!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: But by the Grace of God... A relationship with the Lord is one that helps navigate through life's trials, bring comfort after a loved one's passing and staying focused on living for Christ to prepare for the upcoming Rapture. Author Betsy Audibert seeks to capture what a relationship with God and salvation through Jesus is all about in her new collection of Christian poetry, But by the Grace of God... To begin this description of living for Christ, Betsy starts straight from the ultimate source, the Bible, in the book's first poem, The Book. The poem shares the purpose of God's parables to mankind, while also inspiring the hope of what being a Christian provides us in faith, wisdom and love. Several poems also highlight the changing seasons of our world: from the excitement to be had during the summertime to the blossoming plants of spring to the quiet reflection that comes while indoors during the wintertime. Each poem magnifies the author's strong relationship with Jesus, depicting what salvation is for a person new to faith and the abundance of God's blessings to emerge as one releases his/her life into the hands of the Father. Heartwarming poems are also given in recognition of mothers and fathers, including one that Betsy wrote in celebration of her mother's eightieth birthday. The overall feelings within But by the Grace of God... are those of admiration and awareness of the Father's love for every person who seeks Him in faith. Betsy embodies through her poetry the belief that strengthening our spiritual connections with the Lord can strengthen our witness of Him to the unbelieving everywhere. When we realize that we have been saved by the grace of God, and it is not of our works but Jesus', then we are more equipped to share this knowledge with others before we return to our heavenly home.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Deliverance is The Children's Bread Restoration and healing has always been God's desire for mankind. Ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the garden God devised a plan to restore our relationship with Him. Elaine Norwood -Wheatley expresses through her poetry both revelation and knowledge. God wants those who love Him to worship Him in spirit and in Truth. He loves mankind and doesn't want to leave us in a state of confusion. Deliver me from Evil is a book of poetry that can bring Deliverance, and Healing. Author Elaine Norwood- Wheatley's poetry is easy to read, it's inspirational and encouraging. It is deeply connected to scripture, insightful and thought provoking. When I read these poems, I am reminded of God's grace, purpose, creativity and holiness. The love of God went into every heartfelt word written in these poems. This book has the anointed power to change lives and set the captives free. Marjorie Jones Children's Ministry, Family Christian Center She deeply sought the heart of God while writing these selective poems. The focus on today's' issues and how it affects others shines forth with zeal and passion. The impetus to write these poems was birthed from the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. The book compels the reader to reflect on his walk with Christ and to strive to become a living epistle read of men. It will create a level of assurance that helps develop an intensely intimate relationship with Christ. The author is currently an advocate for families in her secular career as a Co-Director/Daycare Teacher. She has been serving and teaching children for nearly thirty years. Elaine has written one child's play and is in process of producing Christian plays and children's books. Elaine Norwood-Wheatley expresses that writing these poems was pivotal in her Christian life. It took me to a place of divinely connecting with the Father in ways that I could only experience by communing through his word and interweaving it into my thoughts. These lyrical creations are derived from that incredible encounter. I Decree that every individual who reads this book will prosper in wisdom, and in everything they set their hands to do. May God give you a double portion of His grace, strength and tenacity to pursue His Kingdom!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Some men do their greatest work in the face of heart-breaking disappointments; such was David Livingstone. Facing jealousy from other missionaries, the death of his wife, troubles, delays, worries, hunger, thirst, illness, and the fear of death from the slave-dealers and wild animals, Livingstone was still close to God. His Bible was his solace and he felt the companionship of Jesus Christ even when he was most alone. Though David Livingstone has been dead for over a century, he has an honored name and his fame is fresh. He believed that God had called him to open Africa; and having done so, he left it to others, under God’s guidance, to pick up the task where he had finished. Because of the work of David Livingstone, there are thousands of missionaries on the field today; missionaries who love the same Lord Jesus who made Livingstone the hero that he was.
