Or l'accès aux soins dentaires n'est pas toujours aisé. L'objectif principal de cette étude était d'analyser la pratique des patients du département de la Somme, déclarant avoir été au moins une fois confronté à une ou des atteintes dentaires. Méthode : une étude quantitative, transversale et descriptive auprès de patients a été réalisée à l'aide de questionnaires distribués dans 25 cabinets libéraux de médecine générale sélectionnés au préalable aléatoirement dans le département de la Somme. Résultats : 233 patients ont été inclus. Parmi eux, 74% pratiquaient l'automédication dans les affections dentaires. 91% contactaient un professionnel de santé (66% avait contacté un chirurgien-dentiste et 33% un médecin généraliste). Le délai pour obtenir un rendez-vous semble le facteur principal influençant leur prise en charge. Mais les facteurs économiques, géographiques et psychologiques influaient également. Enfin la quasi-totalité des patients souhaiterait voir naître une permanence des soins bucco-dentaires dans leur département. Discussion : ce travail a mis en évidence plusieurs sujets : manque de sensibilisation des patients à l'hygiène bucco-dentaire, une conduite à risque via l'automédication, l'influence de plusieurs facteurs sur leur pratique bucco-dentaire, une offre de soins bucco-dentaires insuffisante dans le département de la Somme. Conclusion : la santé bucco-dentaire est promue dans le programme "ma santé pour 2022", nous espérons par ce dispositif améliorer l'offre en soins bucco-dentaires dans notre département mais aussi sur tout le territoire français. D'autre part, il serait important de promouvoir les relations médecins-dentistes afin d'optimiser la prise en charge des patients.

Such seasonal movements have formed an important aspect of many European farming systems for several thousand years, although they have declined markedly since the nineteenth century. Ethnographers and geographers have long been involved in recording transhumant practices, and in the last two decades archaeologists have started to add a new material dimension to the subject. This volume brings together recent advances in the study of European transhumance during historical times, from Sweden to Spain, Romania to Ireland, and beyond that even Newfoundland. While the focus is on the archaeology of seasonal sites used by shepherds and cowherds, the contributions exhibit a high degree of interdisciplinarity. Documentary, cartographic, ethnographic and palaeoecological evidence all play a part in the examination of seasonal movement and settlement in medieval and post-medieval landscapes. Notwithstanding the obvious diversity across Europe in terms of livestock, distances travelled and socio-economic context, an extended introduction to the volume shows that cross-cutting themes are now emerging, including mobility, gendered herding, collective land-use, the agency of non-elite people and competition for grazing and markets.
