Utiliza la tecnología de fundición de aluminio para los procedimientos de inyección, para la obtención de piezas del sector automobilístico. Las actividades productivas se completan con la mecanización de algunas de estas piezas. En el 2013, se registró un Índice de Frecuencia de 84,18 por 1.000.000 y un Índice de Gravedad de 0,83 por 1.000. Esto supone 31 accidentes con baja (de los cuales 1 muy grave, ninguno mortal), y 53 sin baja, por lo que, una de las motivaciones de la empresa es la de reducir estos niveles. Estos números, conjuntamente con la inversión en un nuevo puesto de trabajo de la empresa, denominado Proyecto Nexteer, nos llevaron a realizar una evaluación inicial de riesgos de dicho puesto. Es por ese motivo, que el presente proyecto tiene como objetivo evaluar el nuevo puesto de trabajo, en términos de seguridad, higiene e ergonomía, y posteriormente recomendar unas acciones correctoras y preventivas a partir de los resultados de éstas evaluaciones, encaminadas a garantizar la seguridad de los trabajadores de este puesto.
