Para esto, se ha propuesto un proyecto que tiene, por objetivo, evaluar la reducción de volúmenes de los residuos de origen orgánico provenientes de residuos del mercado de la Ciudad de Chillán. Mediante un análisis de costos y estudio de pre factibilidad técnica y Medioambiental. Para esto se analizará y comparará los costos de disposición final de los residuos, se efectuará una descripción del proyecto de acuerdo a la normativa de SEIA y medidas de mitigación asociados a éste. La Comuna de Chillán obtendrá ganancias, ya sea por el abono, que permitirá ser utilizado en las áreas verdes del municipio y permitiendo así un ahorro por concepto de fertilizante, además de la generación de nuevos empleos y mejoras en la sociedad.
