It is the disposition and relationship of this planet, that the promised events are reflected. The results which a planet promises in its Dasa has to be studied by a careful analysis of the planet. The Vimshottari Dasha is a 120 year cycle of planetary position based on the position of Moon in one of the lunar mansions called Nakshatras. We have started the book explaining various Dasas. The first basic principles have been explained at length. In the next part we go in details, discussing the strength of the planet depending upon position of planets, lordship and various rules that modify the strength. Each Dasa and its predictive aspect are explained in details. It takes into consideration the sign in which the planet is posited. It also explains the effect of directional strength, state of the planet and the divisional strength. This will enable the reader to make an overall assessment of the planet whose Dasa is being analyzed for a native. The next part dwells with the rules that have to be followed while taking the impact of Sub Period in the major period (Dasa) of the planet. We have in details discussed factors that strengthen or weaken the result which is promised. Further the impact of other vectors, like the transit and strength have been explained.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Prediction through Dasha System is the chief objective of Predictive Astrology. Maharshi Parashar has mentioned 43 types of Dashas in his "Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra". Here in this book the Vimshottari Dasha has been mentioned elaborately in particular, which is used extensively. Besides, the Ashtottari and Yogini Dashas have also been narrated briefly. Vimshottari Dasha system is based on constellation. This system is used throughout India and recognized by all. It is based on the lordship of planet. The native can have result according to the house of which the planet is the lord. So, it is essential to know the Karakatva of the house and the merit of the lord of it. The book has been composed keeping in view the problems of the students of All India Federation of Astrologers' Societies on the inspiration of Mr. Arun Kumar Bansal. This book explains the method of prediction on the basis of Dasha in any easy to understand manner. A learned astrologer has to make study of the three different parts of a horoscope - 1. Yoga, the combination of planets and Lords, 2. Period-sub-period i.e. dasha, 3. Gochar that is, transit. All the three parts are the supplements of each other. Yoga is most important among all the three parts. Period-sub-period i.e. dasha may prove to be futile if there is no Yoga in a horoscope. For example, Period-sub-period that of Lord of fifth house or of Karaka planet cannot bless a native with a child if there is no Santan Yoga in his horoscope. Likewise, Gochar too cannot do anything if there is no Yoga in a horoscope. So, all the three parts are essential to have the result.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There are large number of books available in the public domain which talks about various remedial methods that could be followed. Also there are groups of people who talk about the benefits of yoga, mantra, yantra and allied topics, each of which has a scientific logic as is the case with the manuscripts left behind by the Rishis. As we all are aware, there are planets which by their interaction, govern our destiny. My belief, developed during the study of this science, is that destiny depends on four major things in equal proportion. These are; our previous karma, the place where we are staying, the people with whom we interact and our own efforts. These are the four parameters and within each comes the important of a large gamut of activities. There is a complex equation that is a matter of study and research which, like any other science, gets deciphered and known. I therefore believe that chart at the time of birth, coupled with the year’s horoscope and the time at which the query is being asked, have to be co-related and a vector from them gives the correct analysis of the query. Similarly, as each planet is associated with a colour and the colours are in turn related to vibrations – a complex phenomenon by itself; the various mantras, colour therapy and other remedies have relevance.

This is a part of the Encyclopedia captioned as ‘Wealth & Prosperity’. It is the seventh book in the encyclopedia series. We have in this book tried to explain the combinations of wealth with an eye for the reader to understand the principles that decipher the quantum of wealth. In the beginning we have given a large number of examples which show the combinations that are instrumental in giving wealth. We have also outlined the combinations that generate wealth. From the third chapter onwards we embark upon analyzing a horoscope on the promise it holds for wealth and prosperity. It starts with explaining the impact of Signs and houses on there propensity as wealth providers. In basic predictive astrology the ascendant, second, fifth, ninth and eleventh house play critical role in predicting the wealth quantum. There are six chapters we have dedicated in the book explaining the impact of planets in houses and the placement of lords of ascendant, second, fifth, ninth and eleventh in different houses .In details the results have been written. This is the first basic principle that has to be understood and has been dealt at length.

Astrological transit is about interpreting the ongoing movement of the planets as they transit the horoscope. These transits are studied in the Natal Charts to tell about the timing or fructification of the events. In this book the initial chapters deal with the basic understanding of the meaning of Transit, the rules to be applied and about the planets. We have also dealt with the rules to be applied in predicting the result of transiting planets. Basic Transit Rules of planets in Houses, Signs, Nakshatra and Divisional Charts is explained at length. The book then dwells in factors that modify the results of a Transit. It then goes into explaining the impact of the transiting inner planets. I have also gone in details explaining the impact of Jupiter, Saturn, Nodes and Mars in Transit with various permutation and combination.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Vedic astrology, the associations the planets form or variations of how they are placed in a horoscope are referred to as yogas. Yoga literally means union or that which adds, joins or yokes. Astrologically, Yoga refers to planetary combinations or configurations and their special results, which affect the life of an individual. In traditional Indian ephemeris, known as Panchang, Yoga is also a particular division of time, arrived at by adding longitudes of the Sun and the Moon at birth. These are 27 in number, starting from Viskumbha to Vaidhriti, each governed by a different constellation or lunar-mansion, which are also 27 in number. In spiritual field, the word “Yoga” means training, taming and stimulating the body and mind with universal soul. In Ayurveda, the yoga of two or more medicines gives specific results. Yogas are one of the unique features of Vedic astrology. There are hundreds of yogas mentioned in various classical texts. Most of the yogas are formed of more than one planet, but all combinations do not mean a yoga formation. The idea behind these yogas is to equate the planets’ strength in a chart, and how & when they will produce their effects in a native’s life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Jyotish, Dasha signifies the Graha periods, each influencing various aspects of life based on their positions in the birth chart. The Vimshottari Dasha system is prominent, assuming that an individual's life spans 120 years, distributed among nine Graha periods. These periods, Ketu, Shukra, Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Rahu, Guru, Shani, and Budha, follow a specific order. The pivotal role of Chandra cannot be overstated. The Nakshatra occupied by Chandra at birth determines the initial Dasha period. Subsequent Dasha periods unfold systematically, with their quality influenced by Chandra's Rashi, Nakshatra, and Graha interactions. Assessing Dasha's outcomes involves considering Graha's strengths, placements, aspects, and other factors. The Dasha lord's position within its respective house, exaltation, and interactions with other Grahas in the Kundali all play a significant role. The order and timing of Dasha periods adhere to precise astrological principles. Each Graha period encompasses a range of effects, impacting health, wealth, happiness, and various life facets. This book explores the nuances of the Dasha system, reflecting on how to accurately time events using Vimshottari, one of the most widely used Dashas among practitioners. It also provides an overview of Maharishi Parashara's 42 Dasha systems. It covers two important texts on Vimshottari, Laghu and Madhya Parashari, as a discourse between a teacher and his students.

Firstly to discuss for the benefit of the student of astrology a maximum number of diseases under astrological laws. Secondly to supply in support of that discussion as many illustrations from actual life as is possible, with a view to make the subject readily understandable. Thirdly we have tried to place the astrological material in a rational & logical manner, so that the question of health and disease can be tackled in an independent way without being too much subservient to the shlokas of the text. We do meet with shlokas dealing with most of the diseases but there are very few books, if at all, which discuss the “how” and “why” of disease. We have attempted to discuss the constituents of diseases and the astrological factors representing them severely in order that the student can extend the application of the method to new diseases.
