Un mayor desafío es el poner a prueba el sistema tradicional de enseñanza que aún arraiga México en su sistema educativo medio y medio superior con nuevas perspectivas de enseñanza que se centran en el estudiante. Tal es el caso de los Centros de Autoacceso (CAA) de idiomas, donde se confiere la responsabilidad del aprendizaje al alumno por medio de la tecnología, los materiales de aprendizaje, la guía del profesor y el trabajo colaborativo. Por lo cual en este trabajo se integran los campos de la educación, la enseñanza del inglés como lengua extranjera, la tecnología educativa, el aprendizaje en un CAA y el uso de la computadora para el aprendizaje. Esta investigación se enfoca en describir los procesos que se llevan a cabo para impartir un curso de inglés por medio del uso de la computadora en un CAA.
