Los capítulos dos y tres cubren la presente Dispensación de la Iglesia. Desde el capítulo cuatro hasta el final del Libro todo es futuro. El propósito del escritor es mostrar que el Libro del Apocalipsis debe ser tomado literalmente, y que está escrito en orden cronológico. Se utiliza el texto de la Versión Antigua y se imprime en la parte superior de cada tema. Se ignoran las divisiones de capítulos y versículos. El texto se enfatiza mediante el uso de mayúsculas y de letra negra. Esto ayuda a explicarlo y a hacerlo claro para el lector general. La materia descriptiva del libro se enfatiza de la misma manera. El libro también está ilustrado con más de 30 gráficos, mapas y diagramas. Numerosos recortes de símbolos, bestias, etc., de los que se habla en el Apocalipsis, se distribuyen a lo largo del libro en el lugar donde se mencionan, y contribuyen en gran medida a su valor al dilucidar el texto y ahorrar mucha materia explicativa. No hay nada fantástico en el libro. No contiene ningún asunto especulativo, ni opiniones del escritor. El libro no es un comentario compuesto por citas de otros escritores. El escritor no es un copista ni un compilador. El único Autor que el escritor ha tratado de seguir es el Autor del Libro, el Señor Jesucristo. Por lo tanto, el autor no pretende ser original. Todo lo que ha tratado de hacer es presentar claramente la "MENTE DE CRISTO" tal como se revela en el Libro, teniendo en cuenta la "MALDICIÓN" a la que se somete todo expositor del Libro. "Si alguien añade a estas cosas, Dios le añadirá las "Plagas" que están escritas en este Libro, y si alguien quita las palabras del "Libro de esta profecía', Dios le quitará su parte del 'libro de la vida', y de la ciudad santa, y de las cosas que están escritas en este libro". Apocalipsis 22:18-19. El objetivo del escritor ha sido preparar una obra estándar sobre el Libro de Apocalipsis, desde el punto de vista futurista, que pueda ser utilizada como libro de texto en los Seminarios Teológicos y Escuelas Bíblicas, y que sea de inestimable ayuda para el ocupado pastor en su exposición de la Palabra de Dios. El libro se envía con la oración de que Dios bendiga su testimonio en estos días en los que las declaraciones proféticas del Apocalipsis se acercan rápidamente a su cumplimiento.

The Book of Revelation, often known simply as Revelation or the Apocalypse, is the final book of the Bible and is the only purely apocalyptic book in the New Testament. The author of the work identifies himself in the text as "John" and says that he was on Patmos, an island in the Aegean, when he was instructed by a heavenly figure to write down the contents of a vision. Most modern scholars believe it was written around AD 95, with some believing it dates from around AD 70. The book spans three literary genres: epistolary, apocalyptic, and prophetic. It begins with an epistolary address to the reader followed by an apocalyptic description of a complex series of events derived from prophetic visions which the author has seen. These include the appearance of a number of figures and images which have become important in Christian eschatology, such as the Whore of Babylon and the Beast, and culminate in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The obscure and extravagant imagery has led to a wide variety of interpretations: historicist interpretations see in Revelation a broad view of history; interpretations treat Revelation as mostly referring to the events of the apostolic era (1st century), or—at the latest—the fall of the Roman Empire; futurists believe that Revelation describes future events; and idealist or symbolic interpretations consider that Revelation does not refer to actual people or events, but is an allegory of the spiritual path and the ongoing struggle between good and evil.
