Dies hat zur Entwicklung der sozialen Verantwortung von Unternehmen geführt, die die Verantwortung von Organisationen anerkennt, sozial verantwortlich zu handeln und dabei die Auswirkungen ihrer Aktivitäten auf Umwelt, Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft zu berücksichtigen. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass Geschäftsethik zu einem grundlegenden Konzept moderner Geschäftsabläufe geworden ist, dessen Beitrag über finanzielle Gewinne hinausgeht. Es betont die Rolle von Organisationen in der Gesellschaft und betont, wie wichtig es ist, gerecht und ausgewogen zu arbeiten, wobei die Interessen aller Beteiligten respektiert werden. Insgesamt zeigen Unternehmen, die ethischen Praktiken Priorität einräumen, ein Bekenntnis zu nachhaltigen und verantwortungsvollen Geschäftspraktiken, die das Wohlergehen der Gesellschaft insgesamt fördern. Der Erfolg dieser Unternehmen beruht auf ihrer Fähigkeit, Rentabilität mit einer umfassenderen sozialen Agenda in Einklang zu bringen.
