Book excerpt: Foram feitos dois experimentos em casa de vegetacao para pesquisar o efeito de tres fungicidas sistemicos na fixacao e nodulacao de soja (Glycine max (L.) Merril. No primeiro experimento procurou-se estudar o efeito de tres fungicidas sobre a nodulacao e fixacao do nitrogenio em tres variedades de soja, com e sem inoculantes bacterianos, e, no segundo experimento, pesquisou-se o efeito dos mesmos fungicidas na nodulacao e fixacao de nitrogenio na variedade Vicoja, com e sem adubacao nirogenada e na presenca e ausencia de um inoculante bacteriano. Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que a variedade Vicoja foi superior as outras duas variedades, ficando em segundo lugar a variedade IAC 1 e em ultimo a variedade Santa Rosa. Os inoculantes SMS 331 e SMS 333 mostraram-se altamente eficientes, especialmente em simbiose com a variedade Vicoja. O inoculante PRG 5 nao se mostrou eficiente em nenhuma das variedades de soja. O Benomyl nao mostrou interferencia negativa na fixacao de nitrogenio, mas Oxicarboxin e principalmente carboxin foram prejudiciais quando avaliados pelo nitrogenio total da parte aerea da planta. A adubacao nitrogenada nao teve efeito quando as plantas eram inoculadas com Rhizobium, porem, quando nao havia inoculante, a adubacao nitrogenada favoreceu a soja.
