Starting from when his family left Georgia in the trail of tears where his family died except for his father and sister. The things he did and never had to do a robbery but he did furnish the horses for the outlaws but Joe Bass which was the leader of the outlaws always gave Eagle an equal share of the process. He took supplies to Robber cave near Wibuton now Oklahoma. Eagle is hung. His son knew that his father would not kill anyone just to steal a horse for it had been years ago that Eagle had been in the horse theft business. Hawk takes revenge with help from family friends, in hanging the Sheriff, Judge, and Hangman.

Notlong after that Don married one of the women and bought the herd of the Flying U from a dieing rancher. Don moved the cattle back to his land holdings in No Mans Land or some folks called it the Cimarron Strip which was a haven for outlaws and rustlers. What it took to hold the Flying U was guns and guts along with savvy on how to make things work for the ranch.
