Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the fourth edition of "Dynamic Gemmotherapy". It has become much more than a textbook of Gemmotherapic medicine: it goes "Beyond Gemmotherapy". The Materia Medica of fifty-five herbal remedies prepared according to gemmotherapic pharmacology has been much enlarged and encompasses multiple therapies that have used any of the plants. The Repertory has been enriched with indications that were separated by narrow scopes of practice and are now combined. There was another purpose in reworking this book: to demonstrate the continuity of different methodologies, different and sometimes opposite views of medicine and prove that although each approach might have a specificity or a different scope of action, in the end they are nothing but different filters showing only part of the vast healing potential of our remedies. This is "Beyond Gemmotherapy".

Book excerpt: More and more people tend to avoid chemical and pharmaceutical drugs when possible; patients, the consumers of health products, realize that although sometimes useful and lifesaving, those drugs do not cure and are fraught with side effects that are sometimes worse than the disease they claim to treat. Homeopathy, Herbalism, Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine all have answers instead of conventional drugs; but the world of plants is full of surprises, and Gemmotherapy is one of them. I learned this system while still practising conventional medicine in Belgium. It was very appealing because it combines plant extracts without the need to become a phytotherapist (herbalist) or a homeopath, while supported by laboratory research and the clinical experience of medical doctors. For me, it was a link and a gateway between the two worlds. Moreover, there are not too many remedies to study, they cover pretty much most of the pathology seen in a general consultation. Even though I have since studied all those other systems and use them daily in my natural medicine practice, Gemmotherapy has remained a magnificent addition that can solve difficult situations and allow other therapies, more energetic, to act and complete the cure in depth. They are certainly not mutually exclusive and Gemmotherapy can be added to any modality, even conventional medicine, or used on its own. Why "Dynamic Gemmotherapy"? All the books and references I consulted and used over time have in common that they do not relate the gemmotherapic indications to the other ways of practising medicine that use the same plants; in doing so, the scope of the remedies becomes limited, too narrow instead of being integrative, as should be expected from the notion that buds contain the whole potential of the adult plant. This is one approach I have tried to correct. And as a respectful salute to Dr. Pol Henry, I have subtitled this book "Embryonic Phytotherapy," which is the name he gave to this technique. "Integrative" is there to signify the attempt to link all the different uses of the same plant by different healing modalities. - Joe Rozencwajg, NMD

Book excerpt: This book is not about using gemstones for healing. The word gemmotherapy is derived from the Latin “gemma,†(bud), and Greek “therapeia†(medical treatment). Gemmotherapy is a modern medical intervention focusing on the cause of disease. Its remedies are a type of extremely potent herbal products manufactured principally from embryonic tissue of various trees and shrubs; but also from seeds, catkins, rootlets, and sap. This book is about scientifically-based, real medicine and powerful therapeutic agents. It is a must read for professional or laypeople who want to know about gemmotherapy and oligotherapy! It serves at the core of a college curriculum designed for medical doctors, naturopaths, and other healthcare professionals in mainstream and complementary and alternative medicines. It is a fascinating, well written book providing readers with valuable reference tables and data about how to confidently and effectively incorporate gemmotherapy into a clinical or consultation-based practice.

Book excerpt: Choosing between using one single remedy (Unicism), multiple single remedies (Pluralism) or a mix of remedies and potencies (Complexism) has plagued the teaching and practice of Homeopathy since its inception. It is also the most divisive subject in conversations and discussions between professional homeopaths. I trained in all those different methodologies, in the many schools I attended. I often talk to myself too: at least I am certain I will always win the argument...so I decided it was time for me to have a serious conversation with me about this issue slowly destroying Homeopathy. This booklet is the end result of that conversation. It evolved into it from what was originally designed to be an article for publication in a journal. The outcome is quite surprising in a way, but I will not spoil the joy of discovering it...

Book excerpt: A “radical” approach to holistic healing that examines the root causes and cures for ailments such as Alzheimer’s disease, breast cancer, and heart attacks • Offers cutting-edge detoxification and draining therapies to address the tremendous chemical onslaught of modern life • Explains the profound health problems caused by dental amalgams, vaccinations, antibiotics, cosmetics With the historic use of toxic mercury amalgam fillings, excessive courses of antibiotics, damaging childhood vaccines, and the many industrial pollutants and chemicals that have been spread into our air, water, and food over the past century, general holistic health guidelines are simply no longer adequate for most people. Only through radical measures--that is, getting to the true root or underlying cause of disease--can effective healing occur. In Radical Medicine, naturopathic physician Louisa Williams describes how to treat these and other modern-day “obstacles to cure,” in order to ensure against future degenerative disease and achieve the optimal health that is our birthright. Examining the many health problems triggered by dental amalgams and poor dentistry, Dr. Williams explains that our teeth are focal points for health issues that arise elsewhere in the body. She explores the impact of vaccinations, the excessive use of antibiotics, and the chemical-laden products used as health and beauty aids--which are linked to Alzheimer’s disease, heart attacks, and breast and other cancers--and provides information on cutting-edge detoxification treatments as well as drainage and nutritional therapies. A practical guide for practitioners and patients alike, Radical Medicine offers a wealth of holistic, natural therapies for overcoming what is poisoning us and our world so we can achieve optimal health and well-being.
