Satterthwaite of that city, who is recognized as an authority in this field of work. The wills have been arranged in alphabetical form, edited and indexed by the Editor. In all instances the names of towns and hamlets, local designations, household furnishings, farm implements, etc., are spelled exactly as they appear in the original documents. Variations in spelling of proper names will often be found in the body of the same abstract, but in all cases the name of the testator or testatrix, which appears at the beginning of each abstract, conforms to the spelling of his or her signature.
