Diese sind in der kindlichen Welt in der Regel die wichtigsten Bezugspersonen, die ihnen Sicherheit und Geborgenheit geben und sich um ihre emotionalen, psychischen und intellektuellen Bedürfnisse kümmern (vgl. Griepenstroh/ Heitmann/ Hermeling 2011, S.35). Doch wie ist die Situation von Kindern, deren Eltern bzw ein Elternteil an einer psychischen Krankheit leidet? Wie sehen ihre Lebensbedingungen und ihr Alltag aus? Welche Herausforderungen stellen sich an die Jugendhilfe und Psychiatrie? Viele Kinder psychisch kranker Eltern wachsen unter ungünstigen Sozialisationsbedingungen auf. Denn Kinder benötigen für eine gesunde Entwicklung, neben typischen Dingen wie Ernährung und Hygiene, auch emotionale Wärme und Kommunikation. In akuten Krankheitsphasen können psychisch kranke Eltern auf diese Bedürfnisse nicht oder nur unzureichend eingehen. Zudem ist ihr Risiko selbst eine psychische Krankheit zu entwickeln deutlich erhöht. Neben einer genetischen Veranlagung spielen in diesem Zusammenhang psychosoziale Belastungen in der kindlichen Lebenswelt eine große Rolle (vgl. Griepenstroh/Heitmann/Hermeling 2011, S.23). Da jedoch ihre Lebenssituation meist unauffällig ist, wird ihre Belastung oft erst sichtbar, wenn sie selbst Verhaltensauffälligkeiten zeigen (vgl. Müller 2008, S.3). Doch die Prognosen der Kinder kann deutlich verbessert werden, wenn Aufklärungsarbeit stattfindet und die Risikofaktoren der Familien- und Lebenssituation berücksichtigt und präventiv oder therapeutisch beeinflusst werden (vgl. Plass/Wiegand-Grefe 2012, S.13). In Kapitel 1 dieser Arbeit werden zunächst die empirischen Grundlagen der Thematik geklärt. Es wird aufgezeigt, wie häufig eine psychische Krankheit auftritt bzw. wie viele Kinder psychisch Kranker es in Deutschland schätzungsweise gibt. Um darzulegen, wie eine psychische Krankheit aussehen kann, wird ich Kapitel 2 die Schizophrenie kurz vorgestellt, da diese eine der häufigsten psychischen Krankheit in Deutschland ist (vgl. Hoffmann-Richter/Finzen 2008, S.22). Kapitel 3 listet alle Risikofaktoren auf, welche einem Kind mit einem psychisch kranken Elternteil in seinem alltäglichen Leben begegnen und die Ausbildung einer psychischen Krankheit im späteren Leben begünstigen kann.

The concept of superdiversity has been adopted by scholars across the social sciences in order to address a variety of forms, modes, and outcomes of diversification. Central to this field is the relationship between social categorization and social organization, including stratification and inequality. Increasingly complex categories of social “difference” have significant impacts across scales, from entire societies to individual identities. While diversification is often met with simplifying stereotypes, threat narratives, and expressions of antagonism, superdiversity encourages a perspective on difference as comprising multiple social processes, flexible collective meanings, and overlapping personal and group identities. A superdiversity approach encourages the re-evaluation and recognition of social categories as multidimensional, unfixed, and porous as opposed to views based on hardened, one-dimensional thinking about groups.
