Book excerpt: Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung von prosozialem Handeln und Empathie. Diese Fähigkeiten treten schon sehr früh in der kindlichen Entwicklung auf, wie verschiedene Studien zeigen. Zur Erklärung der Entwicklung von prosozialem Handeln und Empathie existieren verschiedene Theorien, die entweder angeborene Eigenschaften (z. B. die Psychoanalyse) oder die Einflüsse der Umwelt (z. B. der Behaviorismus) als bestimmend ansehen. Im Moment wird von vielen Wissenschaftlern die Bedeutung des genetischen Erbes hervorgehoben und der Umwelt bzw. den primären Bezugspersonen des Kindes eine eher unwichtige Rolle zugesprochen. In dieser Arbeit wird davon ausgegangen, dass es nicht ausreicht, ausschließlich die Erbanlagen oder die Umweltbedingungen eines Individuums zu betrachten, da zwischen den Anlagen eines Kindes und seinen Umweltbedingungen komplexe Interaktionen bestehen, wie auch die Kognitive Psychologie betont. Jedoch ist auch der Ansatz der Kognitiven Psychologie unzureichend, da sie den erheblichen Einfluss, den die primären Bezugspersonen eines Kindes auf seine Entwicklung ausüben, vernachlässigt. Demgegenüber geht die vorliegende Arbeit davon aus, dass für die Entwicklung von prosozialem Handeln und Empathie den primären Bezugspersonen des Kindes eine fundamentale Bedeutung zukommt und zwar um so mehr, je jünger das Kind ist. Wesentlich dabei ist, wie die Bezugspersonen mit dem Kind umgehen und so die Entwicklung seiner Persönlichkeit beeinflussen. Die Forschungsrichtung, die sich intensiv mit den Interaktionen zwischen dem Kind und seinen primären Bezugspersonen beschäftigt, ist die Bindungstheorie. Aus diesem Grund wird in der vorliegenden Arbeit die Entwicklung von prosozialem Handeln und Empathie mit Hilfe der Bindungstheorie erklärt. Gang der Untersuchung: Im ersten Kapitel werden die Begriffe des prosozialen Handelns und der Empathie erläutert. Anschließend werden im zweiten Kapitel verschiedene Modelle zur Entwicklung der Empathie und des Zusammenhangs von prosozialem Handeln und Empathie vorgestellt. Danach folgt in Kapitel drei die Beschreibung der Bindungstheorie, die umfassend darstellt, wie die Entwicklung der Persönlichkeit des Kindes von den frühen Erfahrungen mit seinen primären Bezugspersonen beeinflusst wird. Nach der Diskussion der Kritik an der Bindungstheorie werden Erkenntnisse der Neurobiologie angeführt, die die Annahmen der Bindungstheorie bestätigen. Daraufhin wird in [...]
