This book was released on 2010-11-25 with total page 150 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Philip Wessely supports managerial decision-making in the forefront of a potential implementation by introducing a quantification approach for the value contribution of SCIs. The resulting approach combines different innovative modeling techniques and considers the individual integration of companies in inter-organizational networks. As a result, it has a broad field of application.

Book Synopsis Value Distribution in P-Adic Analysis by : Alain Escassut
Download or read book Value Distribution in P-Adic Analysis written by Alain Escassut and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2015-11-27 with total page 559 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The book first explains the main properties of analytic functions in order to use them in the study of various problems in p-adic value distribution. Certain properties of p-adic transcendental numbers are examined such as order and type of transcendence, with problems on p-adic exponentials. Lazard's problem for analytic functions inside a disk is explained. P-adic meromorphics are studied. Sets of range uniqueness in a p-adic field are examined. The ultrametric Corona problem is studied. Injective analytic elements are characterized. The p-adic Nevanlinna theory is described and many applications are given: p-adic Hayman conjecture, Picard's values for derivatives, small functions, branched values, growth of entire functions, problems of uniqueness, URSCM and URSIM, functions of uniqueness, sharing value problems, Nevanlinna theory in characteristic p>0, p-adic Yosida's equation."--

Book Synopsis Variational and Non-variational Methods in Nonlinear Analysis and Boundary Value Problems by : Dumitru Motreanu
Download or read book Variational and Non-variational Methods in Nonlinear Analysis and Boundary Value Problems written by Dumitru Motreanu and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-06-29 with total page 384 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book reflects a significant part of authors' research activity dur ing the last ten years. The present monograph is constructed on the results obtained by the authors through their direct cooperation or due to the authors separately or in cooperation with other mathematicians. All these results fit in a unitary scheme giving the structure of this work. The book is mainly addressed to researchers and scholars in Pure and Applied Mathematics, Mechanics, Physics and Engineering. We are greatly indebted to Viorica Venera Motreanu for the careful reading of the manuscript and helpful comments on important issues. We are also grateful to our Editors of Kluwer Academic Publishers for their professional assistance. Our deepest thanks go to our numerous scientific collaborators and friends, whose work was so important for us. D. Motreanu and V. Radulescu IX Introduction The present monograph is based on original results obtained by the authors in the last decade. This book provides a comprehensive expo sition of some modern topics in nonlinear analysis with applications to the study of several classes of boundary value problems. Our framework includes multivalued elliptic problems with discontinuities, variational inequalities, hemivariational inequalities and evolution problems. The treatment relies on variational methods, monotonicity principles, topo logical arguments and optimization techniques. Excepting Sections 1 and 3 in Chapter 1 and Sections 1 and 3 in Chapter 2, the material is new in comparison with any other book, representing research topics where the authors contributed. The outline of our work is the following.

Book Synopsis Harmonic Analysis Techniques for Second Order Elliptic Boundary Value Problems by : Carlos E. Kenig
Download or read book Harmonic Analysis Techniques for Second Order Elliptic Boundary Value Problems written by Carlos E. Kenig and published by American Mathematical Soc.. This book was released on 1994 with total page 146 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In recent years, there has been a great deal of activity in the study of boundary value problems with minimal smoothness assumptions on the coefficients or on the boundary of the domain in question. These problems are of interest both because of their theoretical importance and the implications for applications, and they have turned out to have profound and fascinating connections with many areas of analysis. Techniques from harmonic analysis have proved to be extremely useful in these studies, both as concrete tools in establishing theorems and as models which suggest what kind of result might be true. Kenig describes these developments and connections for the study of classical boundary value problems on Lipschitz domains and for the corresponding problems for second order elliptic equations in divergence form. He also points out many interesting problems in this area which remain open.
Book Synopsis Harmonic Analysis and Boundary Value Problems in the Complex Domain by : M.M. Djrbashian

This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 258 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As is well known, the first decades of this century were a period of elaboration of new methods in complex analysis. This elaboration had, in particular, one char acteristic feature, consisting in the interfusion of some concepts and methods of harmonic and complex analyses. That interfusion turned out to have great advan tages and gave rise to a vast number of significant results, of which we want to mention especially the classical results on the theory of Fourier series in L2 ( -7r, 7r) and their continual analog - Plancherel's theorem on the Fourier transform in L2 ( -00, +00). We want to note also two important Wiener and Paley theorems on parametric integral representations of a subclass of entire functions of expo nential type in the Hardy space H2 over a half-plane. Being under the strong influence of these results, the author began in the fifties a series of investigations in the theory of integral representations of analytic and entire functions as well as in the theory of harmonic analysis in the com plex domain. These investigations were based on the remarkable properties of the asymptotics of the entire function (p, J1 > 0), which was introduced into mathematical analysis by Mittag-Leffler for the case J1 = 1. In the process of investigation, the scope of some classical results was essentially enlarged, and the results themselves were evaluated.
