Allerdings haben Medien heutzutage neue Dimensionen erhalten, da sie zum einen deutlich leichter f r Kinder und Jugendliche zug nglich sind, zum anderen neue Komponenten bei der Mediennutzung hinzu gekommen sind. W hrend beim Fernsehen der Rezipient ausschlie lich konsumiert, ist er beim Computer - sei es beim Spielen oder beim Surfen im Internet - nicht ausschlie lich Rezipient sondern auch Mitspieler und Mitgestalter. Damit ist er am Geschehen auf dem Bildschirm unmittelbar beteiligt. Beim Computerspiel ist es zum Beispiel die Entscheidung des Spielers wie er in das Geschehen der Geschichte, welche auf seinem Bildschirm abl uft, eingreifen m chte, mit wem er kooperiert und welche Strategie er verfolgt. Auch bei der Nutzung des Internets hat der Nutzer deutlich mehr Einfluss auf die Inhaltsauswahl als bei einem Film, da das Angebot riesig und unmittelbar abrufbar ist. Die Erfahrung von Gewalt kann somit deutlich direkter ausfallen, als bei dem Konsum eines Gewalt verherrlichenden Filmes. Diese Tatsache ist f r die Bewertung des Einflusses der Medien auf die Gewaltbereitschaft von Jugendlichen insofern ein Problem, dass die Dimension des Akteurs bei fr heren Erkl rungsmodellen zum Teil au er acht gelassen wurde.
