Book excerpt: This book should be read like a scientific fiction: indeed, I am an engineer and I am not a physicist and not an astrophysicist. The Theory that I have developed in this book is linked to the time at the level of a high speed moving object. In my equation on the time t at the level of the moving object of mass m, there is also the external gravity MG to m which is defined as an important parameter. And so, all the physics areas where time or gravity is a parameter and when there is a moving object could be interested by my Theory. My equation on the time t at the level of the moving object of mass m allowed me to successfully quantify the effect of gravity in the sense that I can calculate the effect of an external gravity on the internal time t of a moving object (like a spacecraft for example). I found a relationship between t, v, m and MG.I have developed all these points in detail in this book.I have analyzed the two concepts of dark Matter and dark Energy and I have explained the links with my Theory.I have also explained how my Theory could help to bring together the two Theories of theoretical physics which are the Theory of General Relativity and the Theory of Quantum Mechanics.I will show also that long travels into the Space are possible according to my Theory, in the sense that the people who traveled inside the spacecraft could return to our Earth after the very long travel, without having aged, like the people who remained on our Earth. And so, travelers could return to our Earth and find people as they were when they left them! And I will describe the concepts of theoretical speeds, according to my Theory.I have found also 2 other areas where time and gravity are involved and so where there is a link with my Theory: The first one is gravitational waves and the second one is the power of spacecraft engines. And I will explain what could be the links with my Theory.I will also explain how the current physics is respected.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book should be read like a scientific fiction: indeed, I am an engineer and I am not a physicist and not an astrophysicist. In my 3rd book, "QUANTUM MECHANICS AND GENERAL RELATIVITY", I have explained how the time seems to be the link to bring together the two Theories of theoretical physics which are the Theory of General Relativity and the Theory of Quantum Mechanics. Physicists today believe that in order to achieve a complete unification of the two Theories we must understand and explain in a scientific way what the concepts of dark Matter and dark Energy are. In this book (my 4th), I must therefore analyze these two concepts since I began to want to bring together the two previous Theories. The concepts of dark Matter and dark Energy are related to my equation on the time t inside a moving mass m, located in the gravity field (therefore close) of an external mass MG. I have changed the time t at the level of the mass m by the following time t, and I will explain why these changes: t becomes: t . ( 1/§^2 ) . ( 1 – MG^2 / (m .§ )^2 ) . (1 – Rs^2 / d^2) . And I will also explain in this book the consequences of this modification.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book brings together reviews from leading international authorities on the developments in the study of dark matter and dark energy, as seen from both their cosmological and particle physics side. Studying the physical and astrophysical properties of the dark components of our Universe is a crucial step towards the ultimate goal of unveiling their nature. The work developed from a doctoral school sponsored by the Italian Society of General Relativity and Gravitation. The book starts with a concise introduction to the standard cosmological model, as well as with a presentation of the theory of linear perturbations around a homogeneous and isotropic background. It covers the particle physics and cosmological aspects of dark matter and (dynamical) dark energy, including a discussion of how modified theories of gravity could provide a possible candidate for dark energy. A detailed presentation is also given of the possible ways of testing the theory in terms of cosmic microwave background, galaxy redshift surveys and weak gravitational lensing observations. Included is a chapter reviewing extensively the direct and indirect methods of detection of the hypothetical dark matter particles. Also included is a self-contained introduction to the techniques and most important results of numerical (e.g. N-body) simulations in cosmology. " This volume will be useful to researchers, PhD and graduate students in Astrophysics, Cosmology Physics and Mathematics, who are interested in cosmology, dark matter and dark energy.

Book excerpt: This book presents a new approach to the subject of cosmology. It fully exploits Einstein?s theory of general relativity. It is found that the most general formal expression of the theory replaces the (10-component) tensor formalism with a (16-component) quaternion formalism. This leads to a unified field theory, where one field incorporates gravitation and electromagnetism. The theory predicts an oscillating universe cosmology with a spiral configuration. Dark matter is explained in terms of a sea of particle?antiparticle pairs, each in a particular (derived) ground state. This leads to an explanation for the separation between matter and antimatter in the universe. There is a brief discussion of black holes and pulsars. The final chapter delves into philosophical considerations such as the different types of ?truth?, positivism versus realism and a discussion of the role of the Mach principle in physics and cosmology.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Theoretical physics and foundations of physics have not made much progress in the last few decades. Whether we are talking about unifying general relativity and quantum field theory (quantum gravity), explaining so-called dark energy and dark matter (cosmology), or the interpretation and implications of quantum mechanics and relativity, there is no consensus in sight. In addition, both enterprises are deeply puzzled about various facets of time including above all, time as experienced. The authors argue that, across the board, this impasse is the result of the "dynamical universe paradigm," the idea that reality is fundamentally made up of physical entities that evolve in time from some initial state according to dynamical laws. Thus, in the dynamical universe, the initial conditions plus the dynamical laws explain everything else going exclusively forward in time. In cosmology, for example, the initial conditions reside in the Big Bang and the dynamical law is supplied by general relativity. Accordingly, the present state of the universe is explained exclusively by its past. This book offers a completely new paradigm (called Relational Blockworld), whereby the past, present and future co-determine each other via "adynamical global constraints," such as the least action principle. Accordingly, the future is just as important for explaining the present as is the past. Most of the book is devoted to showing how Relational Blockworld resolves many of the current conundrums of both theoretical physics and foundations of physics, including the mystery of time as experienced and how that experience relates to the block universe.

Book excerpt: Here it is, in a nutshell: the history of one genius’s most crucial work – discoveries that were to change the face of modern physics. In the early 1900s, Albert Einstein formulated two theories that would forever change the landscape of physics: the Special Theory of Relativity and the General Theory of Relativity. Respected American academic Professor Tai Chow tells us the story of these discoveries. He details the basic ideas of Einstein, including his law of gravitation. Deftly employing his inimitable writing style, he goes on to explain the physics behind black holes, weaving into his account an explanation of the structure of the universe and the science of cosmology.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Science has made tremendous advances in overcoming superstition and replacing “revealed truth” with proven factual truth. Quantum mechanics and the Theories of Relativity have contributed immensely to these advances. But, in spite of this, certain absurdities, referred to as the “quantum enigma”, have emerged from the standard interpretation of quantum mechanics. This has been recognized by some physicists, but the absurdities have been largely ignored by most to the detriment of our understanding of the creation, evolution and nature of the universe. Albert Einstein himself felt quantum mechanics was incomplete and spent the last 3 or 4 decades of his life fighting the proponents of the absurdities. It has been claimed that Einstein lost this battle, but the author disagrees and provides proof of the opposite. Einstein may have made slight mistakes in developing his Theories of Relativity, however, that may have unintentionally contributed to the absurdities and the author’s work supports the statement that "Einstein may have been wrong just where most thought he was right and right just where most thought he was wrong." The author provides a new analysis of space and time and corrections to aspects of quantum mechanics and the Theories of Relativity that may eliminate the absurdities. This could provide a new understanding of the birth, evolution and nature of the universe and possible explanations for dark energy and dark matter. This is presented in a manner that can be understood and appreciated by all curious folks, not just physicists, and will help them understand their universe and the amazing things physicists have accomplished.

Book excerpt: This book consists of 3 titles, which are the following: Dark Matter - In the vast expanse of the cosmos, there exists an enigmatic substance that eludes detection yet exerts a profound influence on the universe's structure and evolution. This substance, known as dark matter, remains one of the greatest mysteries of modern astrophysics, captivating the imaginations of scientists and enthusiasts alike. Galaxies - Galaxies are dynamic entities, constantly evolving through processes like mergers, collisions, and interactions with neighboring galaxies. When galaxies merge, their stars, gas, and dust can undergo dramatic transformations, leading to the formation of new stars and restructuring of the galaxy's shape. These interactions can trigger intense bursts of star formation and feed supermassive black holes at the galaxies' centers, leading to the emission of powerful jets of radiation. Quantum Gravity - General relativity, developed by Albert Einstein, describes gravity as the curvature of spacetime caused by mass and energy. It works extremely well at large scales, such as in predicting planetary orbits and the behavior of black holes. On the other hand, quantum mechanics deals with the fundamental behavior of particles at the smallest scales, such as atoms and subatomic particles. It incorporates principles like wave-particle duality, quantization, and uncertainty.

Book excerpt: The "Standard Models" out of date and inconsistent, and string/brane models still "beyond" them - long since they reached their ends. A New Physics must come. Marrying Planck's quantum theory with Einstein's General Relativity, the author is presenting a consistent Quantum Gravity. Its extension to a "Grand Unification" of all forces of nature emerges as a quantum field theory in a fully quantized, "background-independent", bent space-time. Dark Energy, Dark Matter, hadron and lepton flavours, the details of Einstein's cosmological constant, and much more is dropping out by the way. The quark confinement, the physics before the Big Bang, and a lot of old problems of fundamental physics are dissolving to nothing, explaining themselves as self-evident properties of nature. Future starts to-day. Come along on the journey! Main target groups: Students, physicists, mathematicians, but also people interested in philosophy or with an inclination to leave the beaten dead-end tracks of actual fundamental theories of the old style in favour of more promising, novel ways out.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A completely New Understanding of Reality! Presenting FET, a new model that meets physicists' criteria for what they term The Theory of Everything and provides answers to many unsolved mysteries of physics. FET describes the qualitative vacuum energies, the Fundamental Energies in the zero-point filed underlying and constituting the entire physical world, explaining dark matter, dark energy, particles, mass, Higgs field, gravity, space-time and much more. Leif Pettersson has succeeded in presenting this complex, astounding material in a clear-cut, rational and comprehensive way. The subject is highly topical and of great public interest it connects to the research at CERN and it also matches the presentation of science and popular science in today's media. The book is richly illustrated in color. Physicists have worked intensively for a long time to understand our physical world. They have also been struggling to unify the four forces of nature: gravity, electromagnetism and the strong and weak nuclear forces into a Theory of Everything, but so far without success. In this book Leif Pettersson presents a groundbreaking and very exciting material with theories based on the intuitive knowledge contained in Martinus Cosmology. These theories demonstrate a new model, The Fundamental Energy Theory FET, that without any contradiction unifies the four fundamental forces of nature, and in fact gives us The Theory of Everything! Hypotheses are presented that may explain the mechanisms behind Einsteins General and Special Theories of Relativity, quantum physics with its hypothetical gravitons, Higgs particles etc. and the enigmatic dark matter, dark energy and a lot more. The Fundamental Energy Theory offers a logical, coherent key to many of the unsolved mysteries of physics, e.g. those being currently studied in the worlds biggest research project so far, the particle accelerator in CERN. The book is made available by New Cosmic Paradigm (NCP), an independent organization representing and working with the branch of the intuitive knowledge contained in Martinus Cosmology that is building bridges to Science, focusing on the great issues about Life, Consciousness and Reality posed by humanity and science. This branch is especially represented by Per Bruus-Jensen, former trainee and collaborator with Martinus. Physics, Martinus Cosmolgy and The Theory of Everything The Fundamental Energy Theory FET by Leif Pettersson is an important addition to this field. Book excerpt: Despite the success of general relativity in explaining classical gravitational phenomena, several problems at the interface between gravitation and high energy physics still remain open. The purpose of this thesis is to explore quantum gravity and its phenomenological consequences for dark matter, gravitational waves and inflation. A new formalism to classify gravitational theories based on their degrees of freedom is introduced and, in light of this classification, it is argued that dark matter is no different from modified gravity. Gravitational waves are shown to be damped due to quantum degrees of freedom. The consequences for gravitational wave events are also discussed. The non-minimal coupling of the Higgs boson to gravity is studied in connection with Starobinsky inflation and its implications for the vacuum instability problem is analyzed.

And in particular, I will explain where would be the missing mass of the Universe (the Dark Matter) and what would be the Dark Energy and the Dark Matter. I will also discuss what happens inside a black-hole when a planet is sucked in: I have broken down the global movement into two separate movements... I have analyzed the consequences of my analysis on black-holes for our Universe and the conclusions are very interesting! My analysis allowed me to address the following points: the Energy Density of the Vacuum of the space, the Cosmological Constant, the Hubble Constant, the expansion of our Universe and the acceleration of this expansion, the compatibility links between my Theory and the current physics, … I have also shown the extraordinary power of the Gravity! And I have also shown that far-away travels into the space would be possible, in agreement with my Theory, by reducing the number of obstacles! Finally, I have mentioned the new questions that arise when some answers are found... and in particular what technology to make a spacecraft that could go at a speed close to the speed of light?

Book excerpt: This book describes some of the frontier problems of cosmology: our almost total ignorance of what the Universe is made up of, the mystery of its origin and its end. The book starts with a description of the historical events that led to the construction of the Big Bang model together with the stages that transformed the Universe from a very hot place to a very cold one, full with the structures that we observe today. These structures (stars, galaxies, etc.) constitute only 5% of the contents of the Universe. Concerning the remaining 95%, dubbed dark matter and dark energy, we know very little, and we have only indirect evidence of their existence. The text describes the story and the protagonists who showed the need for the existence of this 'missing matter', the observations, and puzzles they had to solve to understand that dark matter was not ordinary matter. The book describes the hunt for dark matter, carried out with instruments operating in space, on the Earth's surface, and in laboratories built in the bowels of the Earth. It also describes dark energy, which manifests itself in the accelerated expansion of the Universe, and appeared only a few billions of years ago. The book discusses why dark energy must exist and what its existence implies, especially for the future and the end of our Universe.
