Darauf basierend stellt die Ableitung daraus resultierender betrieblicher Herausforderungen ein weiteres Teilziel dar. Demzufolge ergibt sich das letzte Unterziel, die theoretischen Aspekte an einem konkreten Praxisbeispiel zu visualisieren. Bei der Erarbeitung handelt es sich um eine literaturbasierte Analyse. Das Assignment ist in drei Teile untergliedert, welche aufeinander aufbauen. Zu Beginn werden die theoretischen Grundlagen erarbeitet. In diesem Zusammenhang werden sowohl die Digitalisierung als auch der Ansatz der Corporate Social Responsibility als die beiden Grundbausteine beleuchtet. Den zweiten Teil stellt das Konzept der Corporate Digital Responsibility an sich dar. Dabei wird anfangs kurz auf die historische Entwicklung eingegangen. Danach erfolgen zuerst eine definitorische Auseinandersetzung sowie anschließend die Darstellung der Wesensmerkmale. Daraus werden im Anschluss Herausforderungen für die unternehmerische Praxis, welche durch CDR entstehen, abgeleitet. Im Rahmen des dritten Teiles erfolgt ein Übertrag der theoretischen Erkenntnisse auf ein konkretes Praxisbeispiel. Im Zuge dessen werden die CDR Aktivitäten der Deutschen Telekom AG und eine KI-Initiative näher betrachtet. Den Abschluss der Arbeit stellt das Fazit dar, in dem sowohl die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse in Bezug auf die Forschungsfrage gesetzt als auch eine kritische Würdigung dieser vorgenommen werden. Zudem erfolgt ein kurzer Ausblick.
