Implementar un modelo acorde a sus necesidades para sustituir los sistemas tradicionales constituye un gran esfuerzo por parte del responsable de la toma de decisiones, ya que al decidir sustituir los modelos actuales se comprometen diversos factores como son costo, tiempo y calidad de los trabajos. La metodología desarrollada en este trabajo de investigación, llamado "propuesta modelo de calidad para la construcción de proyectos inmobiliarios", constituye una herramienta útil para los directivos o encargados de la evaluación de proyectos y la toma de decisiones, al elegir lo que mejor se ajusta, a los requerimientos y recursos con que se cuenta en la organización. Este estudio se basa principalmente en los conceptos de enfoque de la calidad.
