Through a concept known as Intuitive Intelligence, Cholle shows how anyone can improve creative brainpower by harnessing the balance between reason and instinct. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. Following the simplicity of his master, Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the author has truthfully shared the learnings of his eventful life - be it failures or successes. By nature, a man of depth and an ocean of wisdom, knowledge and ideas, he believed in a holistic approach. As a designer by profession, he has penned down quick holistic solutions to problems which were otherwise seemingly impossible to solve. Being a fearless person, having confidence in his intuition 'the voice of God' he faced challenges throughout his life with full faith in His master. His father's courage and conviction while interacting with the Rajas and Maharajas, has been beautifully depicted in this book. Still waters run deep. As a keen observer and critical minded person, he started to create a diagnosis to problems at the very first glance, re- discovering and re-enforcing the principle called - 'Not knowing advantage'. He approached any situation with the expectation that it would yield all around benefits including cost savings, minimizing effort and evolving environment friendly solutions. Thus, he established that purity and love are the bedrocks for getting up to the level of Intuitive power.

They are different from standard and analytical problem solving accounts and provide the basis for creative and innovative thinking. Until now they were investigated in separate academic fields with differing tradition. Therefore, this eBook attempts to bridge the gap between both processes and to provide a more integrated perspective. Several experts address the underlying cognitive processes and provide a broad spectrum of new empirical, theoretical, and methodological insights.

Book excerpt: "Doc Childre's writing is eloquent, his wisdom is profound, and his easy way of communicating makes this book a treasure. His colleagues present the energy of the heart in the safety of a scientific context that invites us again and again to move beyond it." -- Gary Zukav, author The Seat of the Soul and The Dancing Wu Li Masters Heart Intelligence, Connecting with the Intuitive Guidance of the Heart provides readers with a new, high definition picture of the energetic heart as a unifying, creative, intuitive intelligence that we can learn to draw on for moment to moment guidance. Heart Intelligence links the physical heart to the spiritual (energetic) heart. Through its extensive communication with the brain and body, the heart is intimately involved in how we think, feel, and respond to the world. Expanding on their breakthrough book, The HeartMath Solution, the authors offer heart-based techniques and guidelines for living from the heart, which connects the puzzle pieces of our purpose and fulfillment. The book provides information and simple practices for accessing our heart's intuitive guidance to connect with our highest choices for better outcomes. Our choices are especially important through these changing times because they constantly create or disrupt our peace, happiness and self-security. Our thoughts and feelings influence the chemistry that regulates much of our health -- how we feel, for better or worse. Our thoughts, feelings, emotions and attitudes are just frequencies that we can learn to change -- once we put our heart into our intention. Heart Intelligence provides practices to replace fear with the attitude of intelligent concern (managed concern) which leaves us in charge and more attuned to intuitive direction. We learn the benefits of practicing simple coherence techniques a few times a day for boosting resilience and emotional balance; making appropriate choices; and clearing our mind from anxiety or overwhelm when needed. It is through deepening our heart intelligence, coherence and connection that humanity will be able to shift from separation to cooperation resulting in higher solutions to our personal and global problems

The hands-on activities will engage students in learning and allow individual creativity to support student growth and development. ""Shaunna Heberson-Valdez, Instruction Coach Masters of Education Salt Lake City, UT The Importance and Purpose of This Book This book is a masterpiece that reinforces the need to develop the "total child" and encourage various creative skills in learning. It can make learning fun and emphasize sharing of ideas. This book has flexible uses. It can be an enrichment to a language arts program or serve as a review of basic grammar with worksheets to develop skills in various types of creativity. It can be used with a group or with an individual. It can be a springboard for teachers to develop their own creative worksheets and methods. It can also give learners skills to help them pass state writing tests through organization, grammar, brainstorming, and related skills. A student can start according to their present ability and this is the reason for the coded levels. "Foundational" skills deal with very basic skills using structured charts, to basic skills, to intermediate, then advanced levels for elementary students. This book can be used by teachers, tutors, or home schooling parents with sample steps to teach a lesson. This book can also change the lives of learners, because creativity is like magic that sparks excitement and learning that involves "thinking outside the box."

One indicates happiness, the other tracks how you feel about your body. If you’re like millions of people, the lines do not intersect. But what if they did? This practical, inspirational, and visually lively book shows you the way to a sense of well-being attained by understanding how to love, connect, and care for yourself—and that includes your mind as well as your body. Body Kindness is based on four principles. WHAT YOU DO: the choices you make about food, exercise, sleep, and more HOW YOU FEEL: befriending your emotions and standing up to the unhelpful voice in your head WHO YOU ARE: goal-setting based on your personal values WHERE YOU BELONG: body-loving support from people and communities that help you create a meaningful life With mind and body exercises to keep your energy spiraling up and prompts to help you identify what YOU really want and care about, Body Kindness helps you let go of things you can't control and embrace the things you can by finding the workable, daily steps that fit you best. It's the anti-diet book that leads to a more joyful and meaningful life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume is intended to expand the dialogue and interest among both practitioners and academicians in a problem area worthy of attention by all. The concept of disaggregation admits to our current inability to solve many types of interrelated hierarchical problems simultaneously. It offers instead a sequential, iterative process as a workable and necessary procedure. The papers in this volume are selected from those presented at a Disaggregation Conference held in March, 1977 at The Ohio State University. We heartily applaud all those who participated in the conference and particularly appreci ate the cooperation of those authors whose work is published in this collection. Part A contains four papers which define the various dimensions of disaggregation. The paper by Martin Starr, which was the text of his luncheon address at the conference, provides several interesting perspectives to the problem. Although disaggregation suggests tear ing apart, as Professor Starr illustrates with his butterfly example, it also suggests a putting together or a synthesis which recognizes interrelationships and dependencies. The next paper by Lee Kra jewski and Larry Ritzman offers a general model of disaggregation for both the manufacturing and service sectors. After reading the papers in this section, as well as the papers in subsequent sections, you will identify other dimensions to hierarchical decision making which go beyond this generalized model.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Elaborate apparatus plays an important part in the science of to-day, but I sometimes wonder if we are not inclined to forget that the most important instrument in research must always be the mind of man. It is true that much time and effort is devoted to training and equipping the scientist's mind, but little attention is paid to the technicalities of making the best use of it. There is no satisfactory book which systematises the knowledge available on the practice and mental skills—the art—of scientific investigation. This lack has prompted me to write a book to serve as an introduction to research. My small contribution to the literature of a complex and difficult topic is meant in the first place for the student about to engage in research, but I hope that it may also interest a wider audience. Since my own experience of research has been acquired in the study of infectious diseases, I have written primarily for the student of that field. But nearly all the book is equally applicable to any other branch of experimental biology and much of it to any branch of science. – (Cambridge, 1957. W.I.B. Beveridge)
