Download or read book 101 Reasons Why I Love You so Much! written by Denise Baron and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2020-07-13 with total page 92 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book was originally written beginning two months before my husband and I were married and completed as a gift for him on our 1st Anniversary. Since then a 20-Year Follow-up, 25-Year Follow-up with Travel and Adventure including photos, Poetry, and Pearls of Wisdom sections have been added. The book is written in a fun, flow of consciousness "diary-type" style format and was meant as a 25th Anniversary Gift. It contains effective actions that make a loving relationship work in real-time. It is written from experience and from the heart, combining love and romance with spirituality, travel, and adventure! With all the discord in the world lately, the invisible warrior Covid-19 of 2020, nightly protesting, shootings, and rioting, I decided to share it with the public. This was done in the hope that it may inspire, give ideas, or help someone to have an incentive to believe in true love and create a reality for their own dreams to come true. Perhaps then, they too can pass it on to help the world become a brighter place.
Download or read book Cambodia Captured written by Jim Mizerski and published by Jasmine Image Machine. This book was released on 2016-01-01 with total page 276 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book accurately chronicles the creation of the French Protectorate of Cambodia through the accounts of the people who actually participated in its inception and in the context of the political intrigues of that time and place involving Cambodia, Siam, France and Great Britain. In the same decade of the 1860's two other related treaties complicated and then resolved the protectorate treaty. Drawing on the same historical context this new book commemorates the 150th anniversary in 2016 of the beginning of photography in Cambodia, presenting over 145 rare engravings, maps, and the remarkable first photographs captured at Angkor and Phnom Penh by John Thomson and Emile Gsell, decades before photographic film was even invented. On February 26, 1866 John Thomson arrived at Angkor Wat to capture the first photographs there. Four months later Emile Gsell's historic photographs at Angkor also marked the beginning of the French expedition, led by Commander Doudart de Lagrée, to explore the then uncharted Mekong River from Cambodia to the north of China, one of the great and most courageous expeditions of exploration in recent centuries. In the end, France captured Cambodia, Siam captured Angkor, King Norodom captured the crown and the throne of Cambodia and for at least a short time the independence of the kingdom, John Thomson and Emile Gsell captured the first photographs at Angkor, and Ernest Doudart de Lagrée was captured by duty, adventure and the affection of a little Cambodian boy named Chhun.

Download or read book The Fair Maid of the West, Parts I and II. written by Thomas Heywood and published by U of Nebraska Press. This book was released on 1967-01-01 with total page 244 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thomas Heywood (1574?-1641), a professional English actor and one of the most prolific playwrights of the seventeenth century, is most famous for his plays written about contemporary English life. The Fair Maid of the West recalls typical Elizabethan bourgeois literature, but its primary relationship is with all adventure narratives regardless of their era. This romantic comedy features vivid pictures of English seaport life and travel to exotic locales by English sea captains. The plot is filled with pirate battles, a shipwreck, courageous adventures, and devoted love. If boredom is the perennial disability of men, adventure stories are the perennial therapy, operating as a restorative by encouraging an intermission in the ordinary powers and interests of the mind.
