Book excerpt: Ce travail est consacre à la modélisation numérique et l'analyse physique des couches limites compressibles soumises à des gradients de pression favorables et adverses. Dans la première partie, une couche limite incompressible sans gradient de pression est calculée par un code de calcul de type parabolique. les résultats théoriques et expérimentaux nous ont permis de valider ce code et d'évaluer la performance des différents modèles de turbulence a deux équations. Ensuite, nous étudions les effets de la compressibilité. L'extension des fonctions d'amortissement des modèles classiques de type k - e aux écoulements compressibles est discutée. Les résultats comparés avec les données expérimentales nous montrent la capacité des modèles de décrire des couches limites compressibles. Dans la dernière partie, le code de calcul est appliqué aux écoulements compressibles à des gradients de pression favorables et adverses. Les effets des gradients de pression sur les couches limites subsoniques sont analysés, et ensuite nous étudions les effets combinés des gradients de pression et de la compressibilité. Les performances de différents modèles dans ces configurations complexes sont évaluées.
