Le travail présenté tente de répondre principalement aux questions: quelles sont les géométries et les performances optimales des deux motifs précitées ? Existe-t-il d'autres configurations plus performantes ? Quelles sont les limites de validité d'une modélisation cellulaire dans le cas d'une structure mono-entrefer ? Afin de répondre à ces questions, plusieurs étapes sont nécessaires: définition d'autres configurations originales dentaires. Elaboration d'une modélisation simple par cellule dentaire, et d'un formalisme identique dans tous les cas des configurations étudiées. Puis, nous avons présenté la problématique de la haute vitesse pour des machines synchrones à aimants. Dans la deuxième partie, nous avons explicité le modèle électromagnétique, et nous l'avons validé à l'aide d'un logiciel à éléments finis. La troisième partie présente une évolution de ce modèle qui permet de prendre en compte une forme de courant et de distribution des conducteurs plus générique. Puis nous avons donné différents petits outils permettant de concevoir une machine. Dans la dernière partie, nous avons présenté les deux différents types de machine qui ont été conçu.
