(2) A general data- analyses vocabulary, a detailed factor catalog, and a preliminary data- extraction/collection form were developed. (3) A large file of disease (leptospirosis and hemorrhagic fevers) and related environmental data was collected for use in the data-extraction/processing efforts. (4) Prototype disease-distribution maps were produced, both manually and by a computer/plotter system.
