Book excerpt: A guide to working with the chakras to heal emotional wounds, release physical tensions, explore psychic abilities, and awaken spiritual energies • Explores each chakra on the physical, psychological, psychic, and spiritual level and explains how the chakras can be understood as an embodied map of the psyche, linked with different stages of development • Details the author’s system of Chakra Therapy, which integrates healing touch with chakra visualizations • Offers practical exercises to nourish and support each chakra as well as practices for daily chakra maintenance In this in-depth guide to working with the chakras, author Glen Park draws on her decades of experience as a Chakra Therapist to explain how the chakras can be understood as an embodied map of the psyche, with each chakra representing a different stage of development from infancy and childhood through adulthood, with the Heart Chakra playing a central role in awakening the spiritual potential of the upper chakras. She examines each chakra individually on the physical, psychological, psychic, and spiritual level, as well as through the lens of the solar (masculine) and lunar (feminine) channels. She shows how the connections between the chakras and developmental stages are paralleled in the findings of Western psychology and neuroscience and how our collective expressions of the chakras influence cultural trends in society. The author’s system of Chakra Therapy integrates healing touch with guided chakra visualizations, offering practical exercises to nourish and balance each chakra so it can be integrated and in harmony with the entire chakra system. She explores how to work with the Heart Chakra for deep transformation and self-healing, including healing emotional wounds from childhood and enabling the psychic and spiritual levels of the Throat and Eye Chakras to develop, with the potential of opening to the divine realm of the Crown Chakra. Sharing case studies from her Chakra Therapy practice, she shows how we gain a richer understanding of ourselves both mentally and physically by working with the chakras, opening ourselves to the potential for deep soul growth and transformation.

Book excerpt: An easy-to-use therapy tool for transforming unhelpful belief patterns and envisioning positive change • Identifies 28 beliefs per chakra that can be energetically realigned using the Healing InSight Method • Offers a tool set of therapeutic processes, affirmations, visualization, and bodywork for the practical application of the transformational belief realignment method • Includes 56 full-color, high-vibration chakra images, one for each main chakra as well as 7 additional empowering images for each chakra • Paperback with lay flat binding Working with Chakras for Belief Change transforms people’s unhelpful beliefs through clearing their chakras, raising their vibrations, and creating a fertile space for the New to come in. The Healing InSight Method presented in this practical full-color book is based on affirmations used together with individual chakra work and specific bodywork exercises, including techniques drawn from kinesiology, qigong, whole-brain integration, visualization, and infinity symbol exercises. Psychologist and energy therapist Nikki Gresham-Record channeled 28 common beliefs for each chakra, 196 total, which can be fully realigned using this transformational system of complete mind-body-spirit healing. The author organizes the beliefs around the chakra system and explains how unhealthy beliefs can take root within the chakras and the body. She shows how her belief realignment method is capable of changing beliefs and their associated vibrations in the subconscious mind and energy body, thus enabling any blocks to dissolve and your system to open up to the opportunity for change. The 56 high-vibration chakra images included in this book can be used as a tool for therapeutic guidance as well as for positive manifestation. Each chakra is represented by a main chakra image along with 7 chakra aspect images, affirming potent qualities that we are all able to access when balanced and in harmony within ourselves. The artistry of the chakra images offers an immersion in the vibration of the empowering chakra-related beliefs and aids energetic resonance to help people feel good and begin healing. Also offering case studies and a life-review process to help the reader take stock of their situation before and after they begin the Healing InSight Method, Working with Chakras for Belief Change provides a gentle, energetic, yet potentially life-changing tool for personal growth and development.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Acupuncture and the chakra energy system have both become increasingly mainstream in the West, but rarely have the two approaches been joined into one practice. Acupuncture and the Chakra Energy System: Treating the Cause of Disease does just that. By comparing the traditional approaches of Chinese medicine and modern Western acupuncture with the chakra energy system of Ayurvedic philosophy, author John Cross offers clinically proven strategies for treating the causes of conditions, not just the symptoms. The book describes the seven major and twenty-one minor chakras in detail and explains how each is related to the body's aura, meridians, Key points, endocrine glands, autonomic nervous system, and varying symptomatology. Focusing on how to use the chakras in the treatment of chronic physical and emotional conditions—osteo-arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain with sciatica, insomnia, hypertension, depression, menopausal symptoms, and frozen shoulder, among others—Cross’s clear, in-depth explanations make his techniques easy for anyone to follow. Including appendices on how to use the chakras with copper and zinc needles and biomagnets, as well as which types of patients respond to such treatments, Acupuncture and the Chakra Energy System is a well-rounded guide for acupuncturists and other practitioners as well as interested students.

Book excerpt: This book integrates the traditional chakra model, which provides a map-like tool for how psycho-emotional content interacts with the physical body, with current evidence-based psychological practice. As growing research highlights the impact of psychological trauma on physical health and the prevalence of medically unexplained symptoms, novel treatment approaches are required to address the unique complexities of these conditions. Drawing from humanistic psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), this book presents a holistic model for treating psychosomatic disorders. Chapters focus on the basic principles of the chakra system, along with treatment orientation, values-based action, and more. This book is an essential introduction to working with the chakra system in the context of behavioral health interventions and is suitable for all healthcare professionals, in particular clinical psychologists, therapists, and counsellors.

Michael Keane and Stephen Cope, Sylvia Boorstein, and Roger J. Woolger. The result is a rich and provocative summary of the state of the art in transpersonal psychotherapy. The editor's focus is on the scientific healing/mysticism alliance, which dates back to the earliest shamans and in modern times has engaged William James, Carl Jung, Roberto Assagioli, and Abraham Maslow. In the book, some of the most respected pioneers in the field give their vision of the synergistic potential of these two powerful traditions. Transpersonal Psychotherapy describes a wide variety of uses of traditional and spiritual approaches for the alleviation of mental suffering and for spiritual development.

Book excerpt: Traditional Indian holistic therapies recognize that the symptoms of our dis-eases are merely the bodys innate method of correcting the imbalances within, to allow us to return to our natural state of wholeness. The imbalances originate in our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies; therefore, treating only the symptoms of our dis-eases does not address the root cause. The human body is a latticework of energies that vibrate at different frequencies, making up the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Applying traditional Indian holistic therapies enables us to cleanse, balance, and empower our energies. This allows them to flow smoothly and harmoniously, instilling physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

First of all thanks to you that you are interested about to know owesome Cultures like Medical Therapies by this ebook. So we are providing to you all about therepies were existed or now exist all over world. Although we have tried our best that all information and content of this ebook is true and correct. But if some information is not correct then we would not responsible for that and we are very sorry for that information. This is first Part of 211 Medical Therapies in The World (Part-1) Ebook Series, because there have more and much therapies in the world. We can say that you would not listened name of maximus therapies. For your ease we are divided some therapies in every some parts. So we are providing this Ebook Series in three parts. Therapy is the attempted remediation of a health problem, usually following a diagnosis. In the medical field, it is usually synonymous with treatment. Among psychologists and other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners and clinical social workers, the term may refer specifically to psychotherapy (sometimes dubbed 'talking therapy'). The English word therapy comes via Latin therapia from and literally means "curing" or "healing". As a rule, each therapy has indications and contraindications. The words care, therapy, treatment and intervention overlap in a semantic field, and thus they can be synonymous depending on context. Moving rightward through that order, the connotative level of holism decreases and the level of specificity (to concrete instances) increases. Thus, in health care contexts (where its senses are always non-count), the word care tends to imply a broad idea of everything done to protect or improve someone's health (for example, as in the terms preventive care and primary care, which connote ongoing action), although it sometimes implies a narrower idea (for example, in the simplest cases of wound care or post anesthesia care, a few particular steps are sufficient, and the patient's interaction with that provider is soon finished).
