Book excerpt: This is a story of Bimladadi, a woman whose life was punctuated by loss and adversity, yet who faced every challenge with unwavering strength and grace. At the heart of this narrative is her enduring spirit and the deep bonds that tie her family together. Bimladadi’s journey began with an early tragedy. Widowed when her son Kantilal was just twelve, she was thrust into the dual role of caregiver and breadwinner. The modest grocery shop that her husband had left behind became the lifeline of the small family. Bimladadi and Kantilal worked tirelessly transforming their humble store into a thriving enterprise. Her unwavering dedication and perseverance laid a foundation of resilience that would carry the family through the toughest of times. As Kantilal grew, so did responsibilities. Marriage brought new hope and challenges. His first wife’s untimely death from cancer left Kantilal and his two-and-half-year-old son Shantilal in the care of Bimladadi once again. Despite the additional burden, Bimladadi never wavered. Her compassion and strength provided a haven for both Shantilal and Kantilal, guiding them through their grief and loss. Fate however had more in store. A proposal from Tulsibhabhi introduced Banno into their lives, a young woman whose dreams had been shattered by an unfair societal stigma. Banno’s arrival marked a new beginning for the family. Kantilal supported her education, and together, they welcomed a daughter Chhutki into the world. The family’s fortune began to change as their grocery shop blossomed into a successful whole sale business, driven by their collective hard work and determination. Shantilal and Chhutki inherited the family resilience and dedication. Both excelled academically, with Shantilal securing the place at IIT and eventually making his mark in Silicon valley USA. Chhutki, inspired by her family’s perseverance, followed in her brother’s footstep perusing a carrier in aeronautical engineering and also joining IIT. The family’s story reaches a joyful and heartwarming climax in the United States where Shantilal falls in love with an Indian American girl. In a twist of fate, Chhutki finds herself attracted to her brother’s future brother-in-law. This unexpected connection lead to a double celebration, as both siblings marries bringing their story to full circle in a land from their origin. The entire family gather in America to witness this beautiful moment, a testament to their enduring bonds and strength that carried them through every trial. This book is a celebration of Bimladadi’s indomitable spirit and the unbearable ties of the family. It’s a journey of hardship, perseverance and ultimately triumphs. As you turn these pages, may you find inspiration in their story and witness the incredible power of love and resilience. Bimladadi’s relentless struggle and unwavering hopes give rise to dreams that blossom into a legacy of success and happiness spanning generations and continents. This dream, nurtured by sacrifice and strength shines as a beacon of what true determination and love can achieve.

Book excerpt: The story revolves around two prominent political families, each governed by a powerful matriarch who rose to power after the mysterious deaths of their husbands. These rival political groups, led by Lady Supremo Sarita Devi (Mataji) and Lady Supremo Anamika Singh (Madam), dominate the political landscape. Amid this political tension, Mataji’s son, Abhimanyu, and Anamika Singh's daughter, Sharmila, grow up under the shadows of their influential mothers. Their love story, however, is anything but simple. Both Abhimanyu and Sharmila are aware of the intense rivalry between their families and parties. They know that neither Mataji nor Anamika Singh will ever approve of their relationship. The conflict between love and loyalty creates a dilemma: for them to be together, one of them would have to leave their party and defect to the rival group, an act that would be perceived as a betrayal of their respective families and legacies. Faced with this impossible choice, they make a bold decision: they marry, and Sharmila leaves her mother’s party to join Abhimanyu’s. But their marriage, as it unfolds, appears far from the fairy tale everyone assumed. There are whispers among political circles suggesting that their love story may be a front for a larger plan, perhaps even one concocted by the two young leaders themselves. Soon after their marriage, Abhimanyu and Sharmila make an unexpected move: they resign from their respective parties and form their own independent political entity, vowing to build a new movement that transcends the legacy of their families. Although their new political party seems to be thriving, cracks begin to appear in their relationship. Sharmila, despite being a capable leader, feels overshadowed by Abhimanyu’s growing dominance. Feeling increasingly marginalized, Sharmila begins to question her choices and the power dynamics within her marriage. Abhimanyu dies under mysterious circumstances, echoing the fate of their fathers. Sharmila assumes the position of head of government, capitalizing on the opportunity to step out of her late husband’s shadow. What next?

Her wish to see him settled with an Indian girl is fulfilled when Parth agrees to marry Swaranjali, a talented classical musician from Ahmedabad. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Publishers' Note Sri Aurobindo's epic Savitri was written in three parts containing twelve Books. Part One was first published in September 1950, before his withdrawal in December that year; Part Two and Part Three came out as a single volume a few months later, in 1951. We are now publishing this 1950-1951 Edition of Savitri in a suitable format with section and sentence indexing. It is felt that this Savitri Digital-friendly Edition will prove much useful for various types of mobile or other new digital devices as it will enable referencing and navigation in a quick and convenient way. *** The Tale of Satyavan and Savitri The tale of Satyavan and Savitri is recited in the Mahabharata as a story of conjugal love conquering death. But this legend is, as shown by many features of the human tale, one of the many symbolic myths of the Vedic cycle. Satyavan is the soul carrying the divine truth of being within itself but descended into the grip of death and ignorance; Savitri is the Divine Word, daughter of the Sun, goddess of the supreme Truth who comes down and is born to save; Aswapati, the Lord of the Horse, her human father, is the Lord of Tapasya, the concentrated energy of spiritual endeavour that helps us to rise from the mortal to the immortal planes; Dyumatsena, Lord of the Shining Hosts, father of Satyavan, is the Divine Mind here fallen blind, losing its celestial kingdom of vision, and through that loss its kingdom of glory. Still this is not a mere allegory, the characters are not personified qualities, but incarnations or emanations of living and conscious Forces with whom we can enter into concrete touch and they take human bodies in order to help man and show him the way from his mortal state to a divine consciousness and immortal life. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Savitri is the Consciousness of the Beyond with the incarnate soul's urge and claim for the realization of the spirit's verities in the life here. The divine Savitri takes human birth as Aswapati's daughter, comes as the Word of Realisation. In it is the twofold Yoga of the material opening to the spiritual as much as the spiritual entering into the material. Aswapati keeps the ground ready for the willed work to be undertaken, and to invoke the transcendental Power to take the mortal birth; it is she who will come as Savitri to carry out the divine Action. Her task is to win victory over Death. This is what we have in The Radiant Daughter which also proves to be a wonderful Record of Savitri's Yoga, the Yoga that had been done and the Yoga she would be doing. But Savitri is not just that; Savitri is another force of revelation carrying in it another dynamism. In it the past really is another country which has to be left behind: Savitri is a yogic force in action. That is what makes it a true biography presenting her life to the extent possible for us to see and possibly to live in.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It may not be a wise proposition to speak of Wisdom Quotes based on Sri Aurobindo's epic Savitri. Certainly it cannot be in any conventional or conformist sense. This is particularly important when we recognize that his Savitri is a supreme revelation, is a presentation of his epochal realizations, that it is a Yogi-Poet's luminous vision and work, that it embodies in itself the abounding omniscient Word coming from some high transcendental Source. Therefore to reduce or present Savitri in terms of quotes could easily amount to its trivialization. There is a danger in it. Yet there are on occasions wonderful crimson seeds of exceptional quality and distinction which stand out in their flowering possibilities to give rise to new life and zest and pursuit, of truth and beauty, as much as of power and light and joy. This could be encouraging to us. We have attempted here a selection in the manner of aphoristic quotations, of single-lines, unrhymed couplets and quatrains or stanzas. No doubt, in the poem these occur naturally in their substantial richnesses, exist with their vivid textual background and relevance, in their respective fitting contexts; isolating them from it might therefore appear somewhat unusual or atypical if not weird. Yet they do carry in them a firm and forceful universality which is context-free, which is what aphorismos is. In the present work these have been put in the running sequence as they appear in the main body of the poem. It must also be pointed out that there are quite a number of lines or passages of various lengths which could have been valuably included in any proper representative book of quotations; however, this is generally ruled out because of the indicative pronominal references in them which do not easily lend themselves to form a part of an unbounded set. Here are some examples illustrating their character: In atomic parcellings of the Infinite Near to the dumb beginnings of lost Self, He felt the curious small futility Of the creation of material things. When all thy work in human time is done, The mind of earth shall be a home of light, The life of earth a tree growing towards heaven, The body of earth a tabernacle of God. But where the silence of the gods had passed, A greater harmony from the stillness born Surprised with joy and sweetness yearning hearts, An ecstasy and a laughter and a cry. Night felt assailed her heavy sombre reign; The splendour of some bright eternity Threatened with this faint beam of wandering Truth Her empire of the everlasting Nought. O human copy and disguise of God Who seekst the deity thou keepest hid And livest by the Truth thou hast not known, Follow the world's winding highway to its source. The Enigma ceased that rules our nature's night, The covering Nescience was unmasked and slain; Its mind of error was stripped off from things And the dull moods of its perverting will. There are in these stanzas pithy concise statements with their universal implications. Thus in "O human copy and disguise of God, / Follow the world's winding highway to its source" is full of desirable instructions and can be a good guide to shape one's life and movement in its truth. But that would be another matter. Here our aim is, apart from for one or two exceptions, to go in the strictness of the original text.
