Book Synopsis Beyond Physical by : Emma Rivera Glover
Download or read book Beyond Physical written by Emma Rivera Glover and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2020-04-13 with total page 103 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I pray that this book will touch men and women of all ages and help individuals to focus on their inner beauty, and not their outer beauty. If we live our lives based on what we see, the light bulb would have never been invented. The inventors believed beyond what the physical eyes could see. This is a book about inner beauty, the Holy Spirit God has placed in each one of us as his creation. Man sees the physical physique as attractive and beautiful, while God defines beauty as what is in your heart. My goal is to help deliver someone from depression, despair, and discouragement. My prayer for you is to strive to be more like Christ's character, walking in love. I promise the road will not be easy. There will be roadblocks and challenges along your journey. But God is there with you. He is waiting for you to dedicate and surrender your life to him. Are you up for the challenge?

Book Synopsis Beyond the Boundaries of Physical Education by : Anthony Laker
Download or read book Beyond the Boundaries of Physical Education written by Anthony Laker and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2002-01-04 with total page 154 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book sets out to celebrate physical education and sport, and by doing so, encourage the educational establishment to embrace the subject area as a vehicle for the complete development of the individual. In addition, it shows that the benefits of physical activity far outweigh the shallow claims of populous magazines - there are benefits for the individual, the community and for society as a whole. Laker contends that the importance of physical education and sport in many areas of social life has been overlooked at best, and misused at worst. Physical activity has a vast contribution to make, not only as a topic of small talk on a Monday morning, but also to the personal and social development of individuals and possibly to the well-being of the global community as a whole. This book explores the land 'beyond the boundaries of the game.'
Download or read book Less Incomplete written by Sandie Gustus and published by John Hunt Publishing. This book was released on 2011-05-27 with total page 338 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Based on an advanced, new scientific approach to studying the consciousness, soul, spirit, as proposed by renowned Brazilian consciousness researcher, Dr. Waldo Vieira, this book provides a comprehensive understanding of the reality of the human condition beyond the physical body, offering readers a profound opportunity to increase their self-awareness, self-confidence, balance and maturity, and to take control of their experience of life. In this book, conscientiology and projectiology, the two new sciences proposed by Vieira, are explained in layman's terms. Conscientiology is the science that studies the consciousness, investigating all of its attributes, properties, characteristics, bodies, lives and phenomena. The book examines three attributes of the consciousness; that it is multidimensional, multiexistential, i.e. it reincarnates, and that it evolves. Projectiology is the study of the projection of the consciousness or out-of-body experience commonly known as OBE

Book Synopsis Beyond Physicalism by : Edward F. Kelly
Download or read book Beyond Physicalism written by Edward F. Kelly and published by Rowman & Littlefield. This book was released on 2015-02-19 with total page 636 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The rise of modern science has brought with it increasing acceptance among intellectual elites of a worldview that conflicts sharply both with everyday human experience and with beliefs widely shared among the world’s great cultural traditions. Most contemporary scientists and philosophers believe that reality is at bottom purely physical, and that human beings are nothing more than extremely complicated biological machines. On such views our everyday experiences of conscious decision-making, free will, and the self are illusory by-products of the grinding of our neural machinery. It follows that mind and personality are necessarily extinguished at death, and that there exists no deeper transpersonal or spiritual reality of any sort. Beyond Physicalism is the product of an unusual fellowship of scientists and humanities scholars who dispute these views. In their previous publication, Irreducible Mind, they argued that physicalism cannot accommodate various well-evidenced empirical phenomena including paranormal or psi phenomena, postmortem survival, and mystical experiences. In this new theory-oriented companion volume they go further by attempting to understand how the world must be constituted in order that these “rogue” phenomena can occur. Drawing upon empirical science, metaphysical philosophy, and the mystical traditions, the authors work toward an improved “big picture” of the general character of reality, one which strongly overlaps territory traditionally occupied by the world’s institutional religions, and which attempts to reconcile science and spirituality by finding a middle path between the polarized fundamentalisms, religious and scientific, that have dominated recent public discourse. Contributions by: Harald Atmanspacher, Loriliai Biernacki, Bernard Carr, Wolfgang Fach, Michael Grosso, Michael Murphy, David E. Presti, Gregory Shaw, Henry P. Stapp, Eric M. Weiss, and Ian Whicher
Book Synopsis Beyond the Physical Life by : Ravi Shankar Kapoor
Download or read book Beyond the Physical Life written by Ravi Shankar Kapoor and published by Beyond the Physical Life. This book was released on 2012-03-07 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Even death is not to be feared by one who lives wisely. Death is inevitable, thing which is born today will perish from the physical world one day without any doubt. But the journey doesn’t end here because there is another dimension or realm unseen by the naked eyes. These dimensions I have thoroughly discussed in this book. The hidden dimensions and unseen realms make up a much larger proportion of the universe than the physical parts which are visible to us – physicists know this and call the unseen parts “dark matter” and “dark energy”. Science has not yet theorized a plan of these higher dimensions so we must look to ancient knowledge and alternative science for the answers. This book will also help to understand cycle of life and death to those people who are in deep sorrow due to loss of their near and dear ones. Cosmic Energy is essential to maintain our life and to enhance the level of our Consciousness. Cosmic Energy is the base for all our actions and functions. I have also touched this aspect of lifeforce(pranshakti) in order to help people cure themselves and to fight against various hurdles of life hence providing them with adequate solutions. All things in the universe are governed by this cosmic energy from the mass matter to molecular level . But there is need to master the manifestation of this cosmic energy.
