Book excerpt: Journey to the unexplored depths of the multi-faceted universe with "The Fourth Dimension and Beyond: A Dive into Multi-dimensionality", an extraordinary book designed to enlighten your understanding of dimensions beyond ordinary comprehension. This enlightening volume brings together the concrete world of modern physics and metaphysical exploration to offer a captivating exploration into the concept of multi-dimensionality. Starting off with a comprehensive introduction to multi-dimensionality, the book dexterously covers the origins of these complex concepts and their standing in the realm of modern physics. Be prepared to hurdle past the third dimension as the book paves the way towards visualizing and understanding the mathematical representations of the higher dimensions and their profound effect on time and space. Delve into the intricate multi-dimensional models such as String Theory, M-Theory Model and Kaluza-Klein Theory, prominent theories currently challenging the realms of modern physics. Discover the potential and limitations human beings have while accessing higher dimensions - a chapter bedazzled with exciting, sci-fi-like ideas of portals, wormholes, and interactions with higher dimensions. The book seamlessly blends the realms of quantum physics and multi-dimensionality, further enriching its readers' understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and the uncertainty principle. With a fascinating discussion on the hypothetical existence of multi-dimensional beings, the prospect of interactions, and characteristics of such entities, it adds color to the canvas of imagination. Explore the philosophical essence of multi-dimensionality, reviewing ancient to modern philosophical concepts and how they impact our understanding of reality. Uncover the spiritual implications and their influence on consciousness, enhanced by curious discussions on religion, near-death experiences, and their link to higher dimensions. From consciousness theories, space-time folding considerations to cosmic dimensions and extraterrestrial intelligence, the book immerses readers into an ocean of knowledge. Complementing these heavy subjects with the utilization of multi-dimensionality in art, literature and cutting-edge research, it ensures intellectual depth and diversity. The Fourth Dimension and Beyond offers an authoritative, rational yet equally imaginative discourse for thinkers, dreamers, scientists or anyone intrigued by the wonders of our universe. Dive into this ocean of knowledge, and you'll certainly emerge feeling enlightened, challenged, and infinitely curious about your universe. Book excerpt: Leading a highly demanding professional life Jurgen Ziewe compensated by practicing intensive meditation to gain balance and spiritual inspiration. He soon discovered there was more to life when he was catapulted out of his body into a parallel universe. For nearly forty years he kept a secret diary detailing his excursions, which reveal a fascinating alternate reality that awaits us once we leave our mortal bodies. The author discovered a multidimensional universe, which he could step into in full waking consciousness. He returned each time with breath-taking accounts of a world which forms not only the natural extension but the foundation of our physical universe. Jurgen Ziewe gives vivid and compelling accounts of meeting his deceased relatives, of interviewing the 'dead', and even of accompanying himself in a previous life. He describes with the zest of a travel journalist some of the mind-bending places he has visited, and recalls the excitement of unearthing the magical powers found there.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dimensional Analysis and Physical Similarity are well understood subjects, and the general concepts of dynamical similarity are explained in this book. Our exposition is essentially different from those available in the literature, although it follows the general ideas known as Pi Theorem. There are many excellent books that one can refer to; however, dimensional analysis goes beyond Pi theorem, which is also known as Buckingham’s Pi Theorem. Many techniques via self-similar solutions can bound solutions to problems that seem intractable. A time-developing phenomenon is called self-similar if the spatial distributions of its properties at different points in time can be obtained from one another by a similarity transformation, and identifying one of the independent variables as time. However, this is where Dimensional Analysis goes beyond Pi Theorem into self-similarity, which has represented progress for researchers. In recent years there has been a surge of interest in self-similar solutions of the First and Second kind. Such solutions are not newly discovered; they have been identified and named by Zel’dovich, a famous Russian Mathematician in 1956. They have been used in the context of a variety of problems, such as shock waves in gas dynamics, and filtration through elasto-plastic materials. Self-Similarity has simplified computations and the representation of the properties of phenomena under investigation. It handles experimental data, reduces what would be a random cloud of empirical points to lie on a single curve or surface, and constructs procedures that are self-similar. Variables can be specifically chosen for the calculations.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores new grounds that public diplomacy is entering today, as domestic publics come to the forefront of the policy – acting both as foreign policy constituencies and public diplomacy actors cooperating with their foreign counterparts. The author discusses the phenomena of public diplomacy’s domestic dimension described as government’s ability to engage its own society in foreign policy practices through information, cooperation and identity-defining. By analysing data from over 80 recorded interviews with Australian, Norwegian and American public diplomacy practitioners, this volume illustrates both successful and unsuccessful models of such cooperation. From Norwegian Peace Diplomacy, through Australia’s ambivalent engagement with Asia, to U.S. Government-sponsored exchange programs, the author argues that governments around the world are slowly accepting a paradigm shift in diplomatic practice from monological/dialogical to a more collaborative public diplomacy. This book is an essential resource for students, scholars, experts and diplomats interested in world’s best-practices of engaging domestic civil society actors in foreign policy statecraft.

Book excerpt: The mysteries of strange visitors is explored, revealed and recounted by two respected experts on the unexplained and paranormal. Are we alone or are there intelligent life-forms out there? Or are they already amongst us? Can we even know the Truth? Exploring the myths, stories, history, and facts of documented encounters, mysterious experiences, and unexplained visitors, Real Visitors, Voices from Beyond, and Parallel Dimensions by Brad Steiger and Sherry Hansen Steiger examines the “other” forms, entities and beings inhabiting our universe. Building on their decades of research into the paranormal, mystical, and supernatural, the Steigers analyze the influences and theories behind these mysterious “visitors,” whether they appear as aliens, ghosts, spirits, angels, demons, monsters, or some other form. The visitors have been called metaterrestrial, extradimensional, interdimensional, ultraterrestrial, and supraphysical intelligences, but regardless of the label, these inscrutable existences have left their mark on the people they've met—and a host of weird, wondrous, and horrifying stories. There are more than 200 thought-provoking stories that make you wonder about the Truth, including ... A U.S. Air Force jet chasing a UFO in the form of a blue fireball A ten year-old's encounter with an angelic, beautiful, glowing girl in the woods A troubling figure from the Spirit World spreads an eerie cold light A medieval monk, with a long, flowing robe and a huge hood covering his face An out-of-body experience and directions to utter a prayer that ultimately saves a life A visit from a recently deceased grandmother As well as stories on time-travel, strange energies, dreams, meditation, unidentified terrestrial life forms, and more. Book excerpt: Are there more than four dimensions to physical reality? Is it possible to traverse time as well as space? Is there a reality beyond our traditional concepts of time and space? The startling discovery of modern science is that our physical universe is actually finite. Scientists now acknowledge that the universe had a beginning. They call the singularity from which it all began the "Big Bang." While the detail among the many variants of these theories remain quite controversial, the fact that there was a definite beginning has gained widespread agreement. This is, of course, what the Bible has maintained throughout its 66 books.
