Book excerpt: A study that attempts to remove the fog surrounding our perception of God's Kingdom. It may be a source for some new ideas and revelation challenging those commonly held about the Kingdom and attempting to set the foundation for how we should view God's Kingdom. It looks at how the coming of the King impacts the world and its people in every generation, revealing an invitation to take our rightful place in His Kingdom. It examines the mechanics and the dynamics of our inclusion into the Kingdom, and how it is expressed within His creation. We examine its nature as it emerges in the lives of individuals who embrace the King. And, finally, it looks at the structure, role and intrinsic values of the Church in the context of God's Kingdom.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most stories begin with, “Once upon a time...” but this story can not start that way because it has no beginning and it has no end. That's why it is hard to tell this story, but it is true. This story is about a Great King; the KING of kings and LORD of lords. This King was and always will be the greatest King. This King has many names but for the sake of this story I will be calling Him Eli. I picked this name because it means “My God.” Another reason it is hard to tell this story is that it resides in the realm of eternity while we are residing in the realm of time. This is the reason I can't say, “Once upon a time.” Now the realm of time has been within the realm of eternity since it was created, but trying to think out of this realm is very hard to do, if not impossible. But for the sake of this story we have to make some assumptions. So even though the story is true, some assumptions may not be completely accurate. One more point in this story should be mentioned at this time. Even though this story is about one King; one person, this King will appear in different ways. Sometimes as a consuming fire or a pillar of smoke or even a burning bush. Or as a Spiritual being or a Human being. Just like trying to understand time in eternity, trying to understand the person of this Great King is beyond our complete understanding. There are things we need to take by faith and this is one of them.

Download or read book Behold written by Samantha DeJaynes and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2017-08-16 with total page 252 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus Christ stepped down from his heavenly throne for more than salvation at death. He came with kingdom purposes to reconcile and restore mankind as sons and daughters of the King Most High, bringing his heavenly kingdom down to earth through them. To join the King of kings in the work He is doing today, we must understand the work He has already done through the cross. To walk with kingdom-purpose as our Lord commanded and demonstrated to us requires complete faith and dependence on Him. It requires seeking Him and believing his Word. To be children of our Fathers business, we must behold our King.
Download or read book Hail the King written by Pilgrim H Benham and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2023-04-20 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What does it mean to "hail the King"? If we were to analyze the evangelical church today, we may see her quick to bend the knee to "Caesar," to the whims of worldly ideology, to moral relativism, to pragmatism and to cultural, sympathetic, "relatability," while simultaneously (and ironically) brazenly defiant toward submitting to the actual commands and authority of Jesus! The church today values safety, strategy, efficiency, and novelty above all other values - neglecting obedience, holiness, humility, clarity, and risk. What does it mean to be a citizen of Heaven, then? Does the Bible actually say much about Christ and his kingdom? Echoing the words of Psalm 24, who is this King of glory? In this book, pastor and author Pilgrim Benham explores what the Scripture says about the Ruler (King Jesus), his Reign in the hearts of his people by faith, along with the Realm of his cosmic jurisdiction. This book has been written to agitate you toward kingdom involvement, toward a renewed love for other citizens, and to behold, adore, and hail the King!
