Besonders interessant finde ich seine Kreuzesvision, durch die er sich dem Christentum zugewandt hat. Meine Entscheidung katholische Theologie zu studieren habe ich auch erst sehr spät getroffen und mich erst im Erwachsenenalter mit meiner Spiritualität auseinandergesetzt. Darum sehe ich die Person Konstantins auch als eine Art Vorbild, weil er auch erst mit ungefähr 30 Jahren zum christlichen Glauben gefunden hat. Für mich stellte sich dabei die Frage, aus welchen Beweggründen sich Kaiser Konstantin dem Christentum zugewandt hat und waren seine Absichten ehrlich und aufrichtig? Hiermit möchte ich mich in dieser Hausarbeit dieser Forschungsfrage widmen, die zwei unterschiedliche Gebote Konstantins näher beleuchtet. Eines der wichtigsten Gebote, das bis in unsere Zeit aufrechterhalten worden ist, ist das Sonntagsgebot. Damit werde ich mich in dieser Hausarbeit näher befassen. Außerdem werde ich noch das Gebot der Gesichtsschändung in Augenschein nehmen. Zu Beginn dieser Arbeit erstelle ich eine Biographie des Autors, um die Texte besser verstehen zu können. Im Anschluss daran werde ich noch die Intention des Autors näher beleuchten. Schlussendlich gehe ich noch kurz auf die historischen Umstände ein, um die Texte in einen logischen Sinnzusammenhang zu bringen.
