This book, however, will teach you how to find your own path, personalized to attain the goals that will bring you true happiness. Animals find happiness and fulfillment when they follow their path, and you will learn to identify your true path in life using their instincts. The animals have much to teach us. The quick agility of the rabbit, the consistency and perseverance of the turtle, the courage of the lion and the relentless drive of the pit-bull are only a few of the topics covered in this unique book. With thirteen animals to cover, there is a comprehensive view of the instincts and traits required to achieve success. Each section teaches you about the traits you can learn from an animal and how to develop those traits in yourself! Amazing animal instincts can be learned, and you will soon be able to put them to work in your life. You will also be inspired by the stories of success contained in each section that demonstrate the principles that are taught. Inspirational quotes throughout will also keep you motivated!Sample content The world is filled with animals that find their type of success every day. Have you ever seen a tiger, or a bird, or a rabbit that did not seem to be fulfilling its own destiny? Of course not! These animals feel an overwhelming instinct that guides them to gratification in their lives. They do not question themselves or second-guess their motivations, desires or actions. Each animal listens to its inner voice and follows it without question. You too can find this kind of fulfillment in your life, and it is the instincts of the animals that will teach you how to do it.Have you ever searched for the kind of motivation that makes a pit bull hold on until the very end? Maybe you wish you had the clear vision of your future that an eagle uses to see its target or the quick judgment shown by rabbits who run without pausing to question where they are heading. These animals follow their instincts, but you too have instincts that can guide you to success. Nobody else has the same combination of traits and abilities that you do, so your success will not look exactly like anyone else's. You are an individual, a rare and unique being that can accomplish great things you may not yet have even imagined. When some people decide to learn to be successful, they think there is a program they can follow that will teach them what to do. Perhaps you have tried some of these programs. A so-called expert writes a book that promises that if you follow the same steps they followed, you can achieve the same type of success. Some of these programs can be helpful, but many of them only reach their primary goal of increasing the income of the program's founder! And you must beware of people who promise to sell you their secrets. If they hold all the secrets of success, they may not be willing to share them. At the very least, truly successful individuals probably don't need to supplement their income with a book that teaches you how to mimic their success! This book is different; there is no program to follow. Instead, you will learn to find the instincts deep inside of you that will inevitably lead you to your success. You will find that your instincts, when guided properly, will allow you to find your path, not follow somebody else's. They will help you to set the goals that will truly bring you happiness, not another person's definition of it. This is the book that will teach you to unlock your potential and become the incredible person that you have been waiting for all your life. BUY TODAY!!!!!

Book excerpt: We all have "a beast" within us, and yet, there are times when the power of our mind keeps it from being unleashed. But, when we tap into our true instinctive nature, that's when we allow ourselves to play at the highest level. And, it does not matter if you are a professional athlete, or a CEO, or an entrepreneur-or simply someone who seeks to get more out of everyday life. The principles are the same. Our minds are an important asset. They will either work for us or against us. But, how do we truly get our minds to work for us in an ever-changing world that seems to be moving faster and faster, and keeps us off-balance and in chaos? How do we break free from the chains that bind us and want to pull us back to our familiar conditional thinking in order to expand and grow into a grander and better version of ourselves each and everyday? The answer is you set your course and turn obstacles into opportunities by using very specific "mental mindset" triggers to snap you back into right action. BE A BEAST: Unleash Your Animal Instincts For Performance Driven Results is the culmination of Dave Austin's more than 30 years of specialized mindset principles in action as the mental performance coach to professional sports teams and elite athletes, combined with Roger Anthony's more than 30 years of corporate sales training utilizing a "memory recall system" that boasts an amazing 92% retention rate. In BE A BEAST book one, Dave and Roger have blended together their unique styles of coaching to provide a brilliant, yet easy to access, tools that "get your mind working for you rather than against you."

Book excerpt: Experience More Success In Your Daily Life By Adopting The Right Mindsets Haven't you ever wondered why there are people who always seem to excel in any field in which they choose to be a part of while, on the other hand, there are those unfortunate souls who often fail to standout despite their evident expertise on the field they're in? Truth is, success boils down to only one thing and that is a person's mindset. Mindset is a very powerful key to success that can define who you are as a person and direct the course of your life. Not many people are aware of this but a fixed mindset can serve as a massive hindrance for any individual but a healthy and flexible growth mindset can get any person through anything. Mindset Shift: Reprogram Your Mind to Unlock Your Potential for Success is an e-book that aims to provide you with a set of realistic and easy-to-follow steps on how you can reach your full potential by simply having a healthy and strong mindset. More importantly, it paves way for a critical discussion you might want to delve deep into as you figure out the relationship between self-esteem, lifestyle, success, and a healthy mindset. Contrary to popular belief, the biggest challenge a person has to confront in life is not monetary or love-related; rather, it's a challenge related to his or her very own mind because the most taxing and crucial challenge a person could ever encounter in his or her life is to construct a growth mindset which is strong enough to transform mistakes and failures into useful means of learning.

Book excerpt: National Book Award Finalist: “This man’s ideas may be the most influential, not to say controversial, of the second half of the twentieth century.”—Columbus Dispatch At the heart of this classic, seminal book is Julian Jaynes's still-controversial thesis that human consciousness did not begin far back in animal evolution but instead is a learned process that came about only three thousand years ago and is still developing. The implications of this revolutionary scientific paradigm extend into virtually every aspect of our psychology, our history and culture, our religion—and indeed our future. “Don’t be put off by the academic title of Julian Jaynes’s The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. Its prose is always lucid and often lyrical…he unfolds his case with the utmost intellectual rigor.”—The New York Times “When Julian Jaynes . . . speculates that until late in the twentieth millennium BC men had no consciousness but were automatically obeying the voices of the gods, we are astounded but compelled to follow this remarkable thesis.”—John Updike, The New Yorker “He is as startling as Freud was in The Interpretation of Dreams, and Jaynes is equally as adept at forcing a new view of known human behavior.”—American Journal of Psychiatry

Book excerpt: In a thought-provoking and intrapersonal way, former NFL player, Brandon Williams, provides a playbook to help athletes at all levels create a lifestyle that builds financial freedom. For many years, Brandon watched other professional athletes go bankrupt, lose endorsement deals and, unfortunately, create serious economic and legal hardships for themselves. Ironically, Williams could relate to these players all too well, as he faced similar struggles after his career. Although prime-time professional athletes can make millions of dollars throughout their careers, a high percentage find financial ruin shortly after their playing days have ended. Brandon wrote Millionaire Mindset because he doesn't want other athletes to go through the pain and depression he faced in his post-career season. Drawing from his experiences, Williams gives helpful tips, invaluable insights, and practical approaches to implement financial wholeness into your lifestyle. Known in the broadcasting world for his charisma and delivery, he hits the bullseye with Millionaire Mindset, giving athletes real-life solutions to the plaguing problem of financial instability within the athlete community. Millionaire Mindset is a fundamental guide to building financial freedom for athletes at all levels of the game. Whether you're on the junior high team or a 10-year veteran, you will relate to the powerful principles and practical steps within this book. "Passion + Purpose = Success" Brandon Williams

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From acclaimed economists George Akerlof and Robert Shiller, the case for why government is needed to restore confidence in the economy The global financial crisis has made it painfully clear that powerful psychological forces are imperiling the wealth of nations today. From blind faith in ever-rising housing prices to plummeting confidence in capital markets, "animal spirits" are driving financial events worldwide. In this book, acclaimed economists George Akerlof and Robert Shiller challenge the economic wisdom that got us into this mess, and put forward a bold new vision that will transform economics and restore prosperity. Akerlof and Shiller reassert the necessity of an active government role in economic policymaking by recovering the idea of animal spirits, a term John Maynard Keynes used to describe the gloom and despondence that led to the Great Depression and the changing psychology that accompanied recovery. Like Keynes, Akerlof and Shiller know that managing these animal spirits requires the steady hand of government—simply allowing markets to work won't do it. In rebuilding the case for a more robust, behaviorally informed Keynesianism, they detail the most pervasive effects of animal spirits in contemporary economic life—such as confidence, fear, bad faith, corruption, a concern for fairness, and the stories we tell ourselves about our economic fortunes—and show how Reaganomics, Thatcherism, and the rational expectations revolution failed to account for them. Animal Spirits offers a road map for reversing the financial misfortunes besetting us today. Read it and learn how leaders can channel animal spirits—the powerful forces of human psychology that are afoot in the world economy today. In a new preface, they describe why our economic troubles may linger for some time—unless we are prepared to take further, decisive action.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: . Renewal of Life by Transmission. The most notable distinction between living and inanimate things is that the former maintain themselves by renewal. A stone when struck resists. If its resistance is greater than the force of the blow struck, it remains outwardly unchanged. Otherwise, it is shattered into smaller bits. Never does the stone attempt to react in such a way that it may maintain itself against the blow, much less so as to render the blow a contributing factor to its own continued action. While the living thing may easily be crushed by superior force, it none the less tries to turn the energies which act upon it into means of its own further existence. If it cannot do so, it does not just split into smaller pieces (at least in the higher forms of life), but loses its identity as a living thing. As long as it endures, it struggles to use surrounding energies in its own behalf. It uses light, air, moisture, and the material of soil. To say that it uses them is to say that it turns them into means of its own conservation. As long as it is growing, the energy it expends in thus turning the environment to account is more than compensated for by the return it gets: it grows. Understanding the word "control" in this sense, it may be said that a living being is one that subjugates and controls for its own continued activity the energies that would otherwise use it up. Life is a self-renewing process through action upon the environment.

Book excerpt: How should we treat non-human animals? In this immensely powerful and influential book (now with a new introduction by Sapiens author Yuval Noah Harari), the renowned moral philosopher Peter Singer addresses this simple question with trenchant, dispassionate reasoning. Accompanied by the disturbing evidence of factory farms and laboratories, his answers triggered the birth of the animal rights movement. 'An extraordinary book which has had extraordinary effects... Widely known as the bible of the animal liberation movement' Independent on Sunday In the decades since this landmark classic first appeared, some public attitudes to animals may have changed but our continued abuse of animals in factory farms and as tools for research shows that the underlying ideas Singer exposes as ethically indefensible are still dominating the way we treat animals. As Yuval Harari’s brilliantly argued introduction makes clear, this book is as relevant now as the day it was written.
