Boaters of all types can enjoy hundreds of miles of waterway without ever venturing out into the Gulf of Mexico. Due to the many visitors and the number of boaters who have never taken a basic boating education course, Lee County also sees too many boating accidents each year. The pieces included in this volume are presented to help all boaters be reminded of things they may have forgotten or overlooked. For some readers, these pieces may present new ideas or tips from which they can benefit. For all readers, it is hoped that these short essays will inspire them to dig a little deeper and learn a little more.
