Many Muslims consider that if a Gospel is to be chosen to designate the one mentioned in the Koran, it is this. In this work, no partner has ever been given to God: the axiom "There is existence and oneness of God" is never violated. In addition, Jesus announces the coming of the last prophet of God: Muhammad. This gospel is for many people (including Muslims) the most authentic of all. Whether you are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, or a disbeliever, it is a must read for everyone. Judge by yourself !

Book excerpt: From the oppression and terror of the killing fields in Cambodia, this is the story of how one man's conversion led to a rebirth of faith that brought hope to a nation. Commissioned by Communists to spy on a Christian evangelistic crusade, Barnabas Mam instead discovered Jesus and came to faith in Him. After spending four years in prison camps at the hands of the Khmer Rouge Barnabas emerged as one of only 200 surviving Christians in all of Cambodia. God raised him up to became the foremost evangelist and church planter in a land broken by genocide. An inspiring story on a personal, church, and national level, this is more than a narrative--it's a blueprint for success for church growth of the most powerful kind.

With a fresh English translation of the Greek text, this book is a well-researched and nuanced interpretation of the text, crucial for students of early Christianity and illuminating for anyone seeking to understand the origins of Christianity.

Book excerpt: The main premise on which this book rests is that the belief that all prophets including Jesus and all divine revelations including the Injil had basically the same beliefs – Islam. Thus, this work examines whether the Gospel of Barnabas actually promotes Islamic beliefs about Jesus and the Injil. The method used is that of comparing the beliefs of Islam using the Qur’an and Hadith to that stated in the gospel. The major area which this book examines is the isnad of the gospel to establish whether it is authentic according to Islam. This work covers new ground as it critically explores the Islamic credentials of the gospel.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Acts of Barnabas is a non-canonical pseudepigraphical Christian work that claims to identify its author as John Mark, the companion of Paul the Apostle, as if writing an account of Barnabas, the Cypriot Jew who was a member of the earliest church at Jerusalem; through the services of Barnabas, the convert Saul was welcomed into the apostolic community. Three pseudepigraphical works are linked with the name of Barnabas: the Epistle of Barnabas, written between AD 70 and 135, this Acts and the medieval text Gospel of Barnabas. The language and the ecclesiastical politics of Acts of Barnabas reveal it to be a work of the 5th century, designed to strengthen the claims of the church of Cyprus to apostolic foundation as the site of Barnabas' grave, and therefore of its bishops' independence from the patriarch of Antioch. These are 5th century concerns, the independence of the Church of Cyprus having been declared by the First Council of Ephesus in 431 and confirmed by Emperor Zeno in 488.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Everyone wants to be happy, and we all pursue happiness in different ways. Some people are thrill-seekers; others are homebodies. Some people are loners; others love big families or communities. Some people express things creatively; others consume what is created. Some sing; others listen to music. Whatever we find happiness in, we are united by our desire for work that matters and relationships that fulfil. As Christians, we often fall into the trap of basing our hopes on earthly things, even when we know they only make us happy for a short time. But how are we to experience happiness in this life? How do we avoid expecting too much of earthly things and being disappointed, or expecting too little and becoming cynics? In this book, recovering cynic Barnabas Piper helps us to throw off both the unrealistic expectations that end in disappointment and the guilty sense that Christians are not meant to have fun. He shows how having a clear view of the reality of the fall and the promise of redemption frees us to live a life that's grounded, hopeful and genuinely happy.
