Download or read book Niños y jóvenes ante las redes y pantallas written by Ma. Amor Pérez Rodríguez and published by Editorial GEDISA. This book was released on 2016-01-15 with total page 150 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Kiss Me written by Carlos González and published by Pinter & Martin. This book was released on with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How we parent our children is at the heart of our relationships with them – and Dr Carlos Gonzalez, a renowned Spanish paediatrician and father, believes that our children deserve all the love we can give them. If we reject the routines and excessive discipline promoted by self-styled childcare experts, and instead parent with love, respect and freedom, we can allow our children to grow and thrive both physically and emotionally. A bestseller in Spain, Kiss Me encourages parents to see the good in their children and nurture it carefully, forging warm and rewarding family relationships. With discussions of how to handle common parenting issues including sleep, rewards and punishment and carving out quality time with our children, this warm and reassuring book is hugely valuable for parents in today’s world.
Download or read book Spain at War written by James Matthews and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2019-04-18 with total page 277 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Spain's principal and most devastating war during the 20th century was, unusually for most of Europe, an internal conflict. During the Spanish Civil War of 1936 to 1939 two competing armies – the insurgent and counterrevolutionary Nationalist Army and the Republican Popular Army – engaged in a conflict to impose their version of Spanish identity and the right to shape the country's future. In its aftermath, Francoist Spain remained on a war footing for the duration of the Second World War. In spite of the unabated flood of books on the Spanish Civil War and its consequences, historians of Spain in the 20th century have focused relatively little on the interaction of society and culture, and their roles in wartime mobilization. Spain at War addresses this omission through an examination of individual experiences of conflict and the mobilization of society. This edited volume acknowledges the agency of low-ranking individuals and the impact of their choices upon the historical processes that shaped the conflict and its aftermath. In doing so, this new military history provides a more complex and nuanced understanding of Spain's most intense period of wartime cultural mobilization between the years 1936 to 1944 and challenges traditional political accounts of the period.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Diversidade(S).
Book Synopsis La Creatividad y el Niño by : Issam Madi
Download or read book La Creatividad y el Niño written by Issam Madi and published by Palibrio. This book was released on 2012-08 with total page 123 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis City of Play by : Rodrigo Pérez de Arce
Download or read book City of Play written by Rodrigo Pérez de Arce and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2018-05-31 with total page 297 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: City of Play shows how play is built into the very fabric of the modern city. From playgrounds to theme parks, skittle alleys to swimming pools, to the countless uncontrolled spaces which the urban habitat affords – play is by no means just a childhood affair. A myriad essentially unproductive playful pursuits have, through time, modelled the modern city and landscape. Architect and scholar Rodrigo Pérez de Arce's erudite, original, and often surprising study explores a curiously neglected dimension of architectural design and practice: ludic space. It is an architectural history of the playground – from the hippodrome to the Situationist city – of space released from productive ends in the pursuit of leisure. But this is more than just a book about how architecture has incorporated play into its spaces and structures, it is a history of the modern city itself. The ludic imagination impregnated modernist ideals, and what begins with the playground ends with a re-consideration of the whole sweep of the modern movement through the filter of leisure and play. Because play is such a basic or fundamental human experience, the book re-grounds the architect's concerns with those of non-architects – and not only those of adults but also of children. It seeks to give everyone – architects and other ordinary city-dwellers alike – a better understanding about what is at stake in the making of the public spaces of our cities.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
