They had ten children, ca. 1798-ca. 1820. The family was living in North Carolina for the birth of their oldest child, in Abbeyville District, South Carolina, by 1800 and in Tennessee by 1812. Joseph and Rebecca Cason died in a cholera epidemic in Wilson County, Tennessee. Descendants lived in Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, and elsewhere.
