Book excerpt: Ever feel like you struggle to find the faith to receive healing for your child from autism? Or wonder if you are fighting against the will of God with your prayers? I once did. Our good Father does not want you to wonder. His Word makes it clear we can look to it and know His will on a great many things - including autism spectrum disorder. Filled with scriptural proof and revelation by the Holy Spirit, this book will help you discover the truth that will set you free, so you'll know with certainty that autism is not God's will for your child (nor you!). The revelatory teachings found in this book shine the light of His Word onto this disorder fully exposing how it exalts itself against the will of God, so you may take authority over autism in Jesus' name. If you're praying for autism to be healed for your child, then this is a great book to add to your faith arsenal, and may its words destroy every lie the enemy has ever spoken to you about this disorder which is not of God: "For God is NOT the Author of DISORDER but of peace," (1 Corinthians 14:33). This book is intended to be a prequel to my book, "Author of Head to Toe Healing from Autism and Other Neuroimmune Disorders - A Book of 31 Scriptural Prayers for Your Child," but they can be read in any order. In Christ, D.R. Warring

This book was released on 2020-03-12 with total page 142 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus says in John 5:6, "Do you want to be made well?" Beloved of God, if the answer is "yes" for your child, then this prayer book is for you. God equates Himself with His Word (John 1:1;14), is Living Water, and His Word is life and health to our bodies. Thus, these prayers were written to cover your child from head-to-toe in healing, Word-drenched prayers. The Lord calls His people to be in this world, but not of this world. This includes regarding our thinking and dealings with sicknesses, diseases, and disorders like autism, PANDAS, and other neuroimmune disorders. As His covenant children, we are called to say what God says about sickness, define it as He does, and deal with it how He tells us to. In addition to the powerful, head-to-toe, prayers, this book also includes teachings and revelations on faith and healing that make it clear it's God's will to heal YOUR child and that healing was paid for by Jesus' stripes in full for him/her.Excerpt from book: "For far too long, the enemy has successfully deceived many into redefining sickness into something contrary to the Word of God. Thus, even His own people have been affected and brought under confusion by the enemy's lies. Consequently, they've settled for sickness in their bodies. As God's children, we are called to only say what He says about sickness, only define it as He does, and only do with it what He tells us to...There are many believers who are merely expressing their opinions about sickness, disease, and healing that are not based on the Word of God, so we must know His Word and will for ourselves to keep from being deceived."

Book excerpt: Finding no books with Biblical references to help her face the challenges of raising a child with special needs, Kathy did intense research to bring back her hope. Listening to the many preachers on TBN and doing Bible studies, she studied Scriptures to help her understand God's plan for her child's life. Doctors and teachers offered no hope and told her to brace herself for the long, dark road she was now on. Raised in a Christian home and active in her local church, she knew in her heart that the God she serves is a God of mercy. Here are Scriptures to restore your hope, strengthen your faith and show you that God has a plan for your child's life. Scriptures to promise that God is listening to your every prayer, that He is watching the work and efforts being done on behalf of your children. Scriptures that will empower you to be strong and steadfast, reminding you that with God, nothing is impossible.

They'll marvel at the artistic talent of nonverbal poet and artist Kimberly Dixon, admire the determination of Armani Williams, competing as a NASCAR driver, and find encouragement in the many other stories within these pages. In addition to these experiences, Sandison has also interviewed top experts in the autism field and shares their insights here. Most recent figures suggest that the prevalence of all autism spectrum disorders in the United States is an astonishing 1% of the population in the United States, translating to twelve million parents and grandparents that are seeking answers. There are many books available on how to cure an autistic preschooler, but none on how to raise one to adulthood. These promised cures raise parents' hopes, but most parents will find that they are dealing with a lifelong challenge no matter what they do. Dr. Laura Hendrickson is a trained psychiatrist, biblical counselor—and the mother of an autistic child. She understands the struggles parents face as they try to communicate with their autism spectrum child and manage behavior challenges. With an approach that is grounded in a deep understanding of the challenges those caring for autism spectrum children face, Finding Your Child's Way on theAutism Spectrum gives the reader sound, practical tools for understanding how to guide an autism spectrum child to function more fully as the person God created them to be.

Book excerpt: Nothing is as good as knowing that parents of autistic children can exert positive authority over them through the power of God which brings total healing. This authority, when exercised, makes it easier for teachers or therapists to achieve positive results with the child. The truth is, once God gives you a child, whether challenged or not, He also empowers you to help that child fulfil his or her destiny. This book chronicles my experience of having three kids at their early years with symptoms of autism with no knowledge of what autism was and having to be in an environment that was ignorant as at that time. There was so much stigma from the society in that environment towards my kids- stigma of being laughed at in school by other kids, the stigma of not behaving normally like other kids in the school or seeming to lack home training, stigma about whether you had done something wrong in the past which has resulted in your kids behaving this way.Not knowing who to run to, I focused on God, their creator, knowing fully well that He must surely have 'instructions' for me on how to take care of His children (instructions are what I call my God's therapy). And as I followed the instructions through prayers and meditations on His Word, I gained more positive authority over my children. God gave me specific prayer points for each of them and specific teaching therapies. This authority gave me a different perspective of the challenges my children were facing. I began to see my children as who the Word of God says they are and made positive declarations over them everyday. Today, my children are doing exceptionally well, excelling brilliantly in their academics and exhibiting great potentials for the future. The work of different professional therapists and the advent of the internet has brought about greater awareness about autism. However, engaging a professional therapist is quite expensive. I did not know about professional therapy until my last child was four years old and even then, I couldn't afford it so I went back to the strategy that got me victory for my first two children - engaging the power of God's instructions. The causes of autism are still being investigated and there is no known cure for it yet; it can only be managed. I have specifically written this book for parents who do not want to manage autism but desire total victory for their children.

Book excerpt: A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. With unflinching honesty, Sarah shares her story of battling depression and fighting to stay alive despite toxic theology that made her afraid to seek help outside the church. Pairing her own story with scriptural insights, mental health research, and simple practices, Sarah helps you reconnect with the God who is present in our deepest anguish and discover that you are worth everything it takes to get better. Beautifully written and full of hard-won wisdom, I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die offers a path toward a rich, hope-filled life in Christ, even when healing doesn’t look like what you expect.
