Egal zu welcher Seite man sich persönlich zuordnen mag, die Digitalisierung ist und bleibt einer der Haupttrends unserer Zeit und wird in den nächsten Jahren exponentiell wachsen. Doch was genau bedeutet das für unser Arbeiten? In dieser Hausarbeit möchte ich mich genau mit dieser Frage beschäftigen und dies im Rahmen eines speziellen Arbeitsbereiches – der Hochschule. Wie muss sich das Hochschulsystem den wachsenden Herausforderungen und Ansprüchen einer digitalen Welt anpassen? Wie wird man diesem neuen Konstrukt, welches sich hinter dem doch recht harmlosen Begriff Arbeiten 4.0 versteckt, gerecht? Doch hier liegt nicht der alleinige Fokus auf den Mitarbeitern. Die Digitalisierung an Hochschulen erhebt eine ganze Menge an Ansprüchen sowohl an Mitarbeiter, Fachkräfte aber auch Studierende. Die bis dato bestehenden Arbeitsformen werden durch Digitalisierung und Automatisierung schwieriger, die Systeme dahinter sind häufig komplexer als die ursprünglichen Arbeitsprozesse. Diese neue Technik ergänzt oder ersetzt in der Zukunft nicht nur die manuellen Tätigkeiten, sondern übernimmt zunehmend analytisch-intellektuelle Aufgaben. Solche Veränderungen gehen mit einem gesellschaftlichen Wandel und neuen individuellen Wertvorstellungen einher, die sich ebenfalls auf die Arbeitswelt auswirken. Beginnen werde ich mit einer Einführung in das Konzept des Arbeiten 4.0, erkläre hier zum einen den Wandel der Arbeitswelten und definiere danach was genau Digitalisierung ist. Im Folgenden gehe ich noch einmal genauer auf die Hochschule an sich ein, erkläre die Grundbegriffe und Typen dieser Institution. Danach versuche ich beides zusammen zu bringen und erkläre welche Auswirkungen die Digitalisierung nun auf das System der Hochschule hat, wie der benötigte Strukturwandel aussehen kann und welche Maßnahmen ergriffen werden können, um die Kompetenzen der unterschiedlichen Gruppen einer Hochschule optimal an die aufkommenden Herausforderungen anzugleichen.
