To help illustrate these points, screen shots have been included from both Macs and IBM PCs. The inclusion of the Apple Mac provides a much needed source of information for Apple Mac users. Considering how both the IBM PC and Apple Mac are sharing many components such as disk drives, this book can guide a user who is contemplating switching from one machine to another, over what may or may not be re-usable. In addition, by covering both machines, it is easy to provide help and guidance to those who use both machines. A whole chapter is devoted to explaining how to move data from one machine to another using serial links, floppy disks and other methods.
