My prayers were answered through visions and images as I read King James Version of Genesis 1: 1-27 “The History of Creation”. Even though I have read Genesis 1 numerous times, I felt as if I was reading it for the first time. I begin to see colors, textures, and matter. I felt jubilation and I was swept up in swirls of abstraction, action, and explosions of drama. I felt excited and called to a higher purpose. I felt an incredible sense of humbleness because I knew that GOD was allowing me to be a vehicle to show a part of Creation that usually gets missed in the reading. Even more amazing is that GOD Has shown me through this beginning exploration of illustrating his Creation that we need only to look in the mirror to see an image of GOD. We are all created in His Image. What an AWESOME, Loving, Amazing, GOD we serve. All Praise, Honor and Glory to GOD in JESUS Name!
