Book Synopsis Analysis of Skills Development from Computer-Assisted Teaching by : Dougglas Hurtado Carmona
Download or read book Analysis of Skills Development from Computer-Assisted Teaching written by Dougglas Hurtado Carmona and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2011-06-06 with total page 62 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this project aims to calculate the proportional difference in the development of skills among students using the Computer Assisted Teaching (CAT) and those without. To this end, we propose the hypothesis that the proportional difference in the development of skills among students using the CAT and those without, to study the subject Operating Systems is 30%. This will define the basic research project as a Quasi-Experimental design and correlational form, where they took 2 samples of 89 students, forming groups: CATG, which used computer-assisted instruction, and not used, NCATG. These groups was administered as a questionnaire and obtained partial notes on the subject. To obtain the results, we evaluate the hypothesis and compared the groups formed in the development of skills and academic performance.

Book Synopsis Engineering Design Applications V by : Andreas Öchsner
Download or read book Engineering Design Applications V written by Andreas Öchsner and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-08-28 with total page 428 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book gives an update on recent developments in different engineering disciplines such as mechanical, materials, computer and process engineering, focusing on modern engineering design applications. These disciplines provide the foundation for the design and development of improved structures, materials and processes. The modern design cycle is characterized by an interaction of different disciplines and a strong shift to computer-based approaches where only a few experiments are performed for verification purposes. A major driver for this development is the increased demand for cost reduction, which is also connected to environmental demands. In the transportation industry (e.g., automotive), this is connected to the demand for higher fuel efficiency, which is related to the operational costs and the lower harm for the environment. One way to fulfill such requirements is lighter structures and/or improved processes for energy conversion. Another emerging area is the interaction of classical engineering with the health, medical and environmental sector. The chapters are selected contributions of the Advanced Computational Engineering and Experimenting conference, held in July 2022 in Florence, Italy.
